Overview

Penthouse 1Ab Ocean is a corner penthouse located directly on the beach at the north end of the hotel zone, offering impressive views. Salvia is a small, gated, privately owned condominium with friendly personal service available 24/7.

The condominium is within walking distance of nightclubs, shopping, restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, and a bus stop, so a car is not necessary. Please note that noise from the neighboring clubs may be noticeable.

The Space

This unique corner penthouse offers both oceanfront and lagoon views, allowing guests to enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the private balconies on the top floor of Salvia.

The condominium consists of two adjoining units, PH1A and PH1B. After entering through the exterior door, PH1A is on the right and faces the turquoise ocean and white-sand beach. PH1B is on the left and overlooks the lagoon to the west. Each unit can be locked separately for privacy, or both can remain open to create a connected floor plan while the exterior entry door remains locked for security.

PH1A

PH1A has two levels: the main living area and an open loft upstairs. This area was remodeled in November 2020.

• One of the three bathrooms is located to the left of the entrance.
• A closet, storage area, and pantry are located to the right.
• The kitchen is on the left as you walk toward the sea.
• The dining table is on the right.
• The living area includes a rattan-upholstered loveseat and two chairs.
• A double bed is positioned near the balcony entrance for guests who want to be close to the ocean sounds and views.
• The corner balcony wraps around two sides of the unit, providing an expansive outlook.

Loft

The loft above the kitchen includes:

• One full-size bed
• One queen-size bed

• Large picture windows with views over the city, sea, and sky

PH1B

PH1B is a separately lockable room with:

• Full bathroom with shower
• Air conditioning
• Ceiling fan
• Dresser
• Large closet with safe
• Small refrigerator
• Table with four chairs

The balcony provides a pleasant spot to watch the sun set over the lagoon.

Guest Access

The pool area includes comfortable lounge chairs and shaded palapas. The pool is suitable for swimming and has an adjacent shallow section for children. A snack bar and small gym are located beside the pool. The front desk attendant can provide current operating hours.

A front desk attendant is available 24/7.

The beach is directly outside the lobby, which opens onto a large patio with chairs, tables, and grass umbrellas for shade. Additional lounge chairs are available.

A locked gate provides access to the beach. To exit the beach area, look up to the left, press the button, and look at the camera; the door will open. To return to the patio, press the button again. The beach is public, so guests may walk and swim in either direction. The water and white sand are both beautiful.

Additional Information

• Free Wi-Fi is available in the condominium. Request a voucher at check-in; one voucher works for four devices.
• In Cancún, it is best to flush only human waste. Do not put other items down the toilet.
• Housekeeping is provided every other day. Bathroom wastebaskets can be emptied daily if they are placed outside the entry door.
• Five-gallon bottled water is available for purchase at the front desk.

House Rules and Check-In Requirements

Salvia Condos requires renters to acknowledge and sign the house rules upon arrival. These rules are intended to protect the property, particularly during spring break and holidays.

1. The property is not responsible for missing valuables. Safety boxes are available in the rooms for an additional charge.
2. Housekeeping is available every other day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kitchen cleaning is not included.
3. Outside visitors are not allowed. Wristbands are verified.
4. Unruly or excessively noisy guests will be evicted without a refund.
5. Glass bottles are not permitted in the rooms or pool area.
6. Report any broken items or discrepancies in the room; otherwise, charges may apply.
7. Free Wi-Fi is provided through vouchers.
8. Charges apply for lost keys or wristbands.
9. A $100 deposit or identification is required at check-in for PH1A and PH1B. For PH1AB, a $200 deposit or identification is required. The unit will be inspected at check-out, and the deposit or identification will be returned if everything is in good condition.
