The Space

Experience a peaceful beach getaway at this carefully maintained seaside villa, shaded by palm trees and located near one of the town’s favorite surfing spots. The home is just a few steps from Hermosa Beach and offers a comfortable, spacious setting for business travelers, families with children, and large groups.

Surrounded by tropical nature, the property provides opportunities to see capuchin monkeys, toucans, scarlet macaws, margays, and baby turtles. The home combines natural beauty, modern comforts, and a tranquil atmosphere for relaxing days and quiet evenings near the beach.

The bright, airy living area includes comfortable seating and plenty of space for everyone. An open-plan kitchen and dining area sits nearby, with a large table for shared meals. A work desk is also available for guests who need to handle business during their stay.

The fully equipped kitchen includes:

• Pots and pans

White vintage-style cabinets and simple décor create a welcoming space for preparing meals.

Bedrooms

The master bedroom features soft pastel tones, bold wall art, a futon for an additional guest, and a private bathroom. A baby crib is available by reservation and subject to availability.

The other two bedrooms can accommodate up to eight guests in total:

• One bedroom has two single beds and one bunk bed.
• The other bedroom has two queen-size beds and a double futon.

The house accommodates up to 12 guests.

• Beach towels

• Two foldable beach chairs in the laundry room
• Gas barbecue area

Beach towels are provided as a courtesy. We recommend bringing sunscreen, insect repellent, sandals, and/or water shoes.

Spend the day relaxing on the beach, then enjoy the evening lights and prepare a barbecue dinner with family and friends beneath the stars.

Please note that insects are a normal part of life in Costa Rica and in tropical jungle areas. If this is something you are not comfortable with, Costa Rica may not be the right destination for you.

Guest Access

Guests have private access through a door lock to the entire House #15, the front yard, and the gas barbecue area.

Guests can also access Hermosa Beach to watch the sunset, enjoy a massage, relax on lounge chairs, and enjoy the sun.

Private transportation and private tour services are available upon request.

Airport transportation from Juan Santamaría International Airport to Playa Hermosa is available for $150 one way for up to 10 people. Please ask for more information.

The crib is available by reservation only and is subject to availability.

In response to COVID-19, the property follows enhanced cleaning and disinfection measures and protocols to help protect guests.

For security purposes, personal information for you and your guests is required before entering the residential community. This may include full names, identification or passport numbers, and vehicle license plates, as requested by the security guards.

Occasional interruptions to internet, electricity, or water service may occur in the area.

Visitors are charged an additional $25 per person, per day.

Basic starter essentials are provided at the beginning of your stay. Please bring any personal items and cleaning supplies you may need.

Construction or renovations may occasionally take place in the surrounding area.

Pets

The property is pet-friendly. Well-behaved pets are welcome as long as they are not included on the dangerous-breeds list.

• The pet fee is $25 per pet.
• Pets must be kept on a leash.
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Optional Services

Typical breakfast or lunch service may be available for $50 per day, plus ingredients, subject to availability. Please ask in advance.

Additional cleaning service may be available for:

• $85 with supplies
• $65 without supplies

Subject to availability, the following options may be offered for an additional $150 each:

• Early check-in at 8:00 a.m.
• Late check-out after 11:00 a.m., up to 8:00 p.m.

A complimentary 2:00 p.m. check-in may be confirmed one day before arrival, depending on availability.

Important House Rules and Notes

• Children must be supervised by an adult in the private pool and ocean.
• Please do not flush toilet paper. Place used toilet paper in the trash can.
• Vicky and Don Rafael may occasionally be on the property or in the storage room.
• Please contact us immediately if a last-minute issue occurs so we can send someone to assist.
• Under the current Hermosa Palms policies, renters no longer have access to the Beach Club.
• The property is approximately a five-minute drive from Hermosa Beach.
• Please respect the ocean. Do not swim while drinking alcohol, and avoid swimming during high tides or unsafe conditions.
• The house accommodates up to 12 guests. Additional guests must bring their own towels and sleeping arrangements. The extra fee covers only the use of the house amenities, pool, water, electricity, and other utilities.
• Please return the two foldable beach chairs to the laundry room after use.
• The property follows a regular pest-control program. You may occasionally notice a dead insect after treatments have been performed.
