Montecristo is an exclusive gated community located in Los Cabos, Mexico. Perched dramatically on the mountainside, it offers breathtaking ocean views and overlooks the entire Quivira Los Cabos area, which features a prestigious Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. The community is beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained, providing access to a stunning clubhouse.

Situated at the tip of the Baja Peninsula in Cabo San Lucas, this peaceful enclave offers privacy and a tranquil atmosphere.

The Space

Montecristo Villas are designed to meet your needs, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay in this unique and spectacular setting. Each villa serves as a comfortable home away from home, equipped with luxurious amenities such as:

• Walk-in closets

Please note:

• Our listings are not linked to a specific villa, but all villas share the same amenities and layouts.
• Every villa includes a private pool and Jacuzzi on the terrace.
• Views vary by villa; while we cannot guarantee the exact view shown in photos, it will be similar.
• We do not accept location requests.
• Villas are managed across both Phase I and Phase II of Montecristo.

Booking and Policies

• Pricing is based on the number of guests. Please book for the correct number of occupants.
• If additional guests arrive beyond the booked number, the extra person fee will double if reported during or after check-in.
• You may add extra guests before arrival at the original extra guest fee by notifying us at least a few days in advance to avoid increased charges.
• Housekeeping is not included but can be added for $80 USD per day.
• Please review our house rules carefully, as the Montecristo Community enforces strict regulations.
• Basic kitchen staples such as salt, pepper, condiments, oils, foil, plastic wrap, coffee, and sugar are not provided.

Environmental Sanitation Tax

The municipality of Los Cabos has introduced an Environmental Sanitation Tax to support local community improvements. This tax applies to all reservations made from September 8, 2022, onward and will be charged at check-out in addition to the rental fee.

• Tax amount: 33.68 Mexican Pesos per room per night (approximately $1.70 USD, depending on exchange rates)
• The tax supports investments in environmental infrastructure, sustainability, safety, and security projects.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Quivira Vacation Rentals has implemented rigorous health and safety measures to protect guests and staff, following recommendations from a global hotel consulting leader.

Cleanliness Standards

• Hand sanitizing stations are installed at key locations including front desks, restaurant entrances, and public areas.
• Certified sanitization products are used to clean high-touch surfaces regularly.
• A certified third party performs comprehensive sanitization before reopening and periodically thereafter.

Arrival Procedures

• External suitcase sanitization via steam cabin or sanitizing devices.
• Guest sanitization cabins and infrared thermometers for temperature checks.
• Guests with temperatures above 38°C (100.4°F) will be evaluated by a doctor and may be denied access.
• Mobile pre-check-in is available.

Room Amenities

• Hand sanitizer and sanitizing spray are provided in rooms.
• Masks and gloves are available upon request.
• Paper amenities such as pens and magazines are removed but can be provided on request.

Social Distancing and Health Measures

• Elevators limited to two persons unless from the same family.
• Public area furniture arranged to maintain at least 1.8 meters (6 feet) of distance.

Pool, Spa, and Fitness Areas

• Pool loungers grouped in twos or fours, spaced 1.8 meters apart.
• Fitness equipment and spa wet areas sanitized after each use.
• Reduced maximum capacities for fitness centers and spas.

Food and Beverage

• Restaurant and bar seating rearranged to maintain 1.8 meters between tables.
• Capacity limits enforced with social distancing reminders.
• Food and beverage staff wear masks.
• Contactless room service available.
• Menus accessible via mobile devices; physical menus removed.

Quivira Golf Club

• Golf carts and balls sanitized before and after use.
• Capacity limits at reception and practice areas.
• Tee times spaced 15 minutes apart.
• One golf cart per player unless family members request otherwise.
• New rules minimize touchpoints during play (e.g., flagsticks remain in holes, bunker rakes removed).

COVID-19 Response

• An on-site detection team including a physician, general manager, operations manager, and head of security coordinates with health authorities.
• Protocols are in place to manage potential COVID-19 cases.
• Medical services are available 24/7.

Destination Protocols

• Enhanced procedures at SJD International Airport include thermal cameras and travel background checks.
• The destination is undergoing certification by the Ministry of Health, covering restaurants, hotels, water sports, and tourist activities.
• Property management continuously monitors and updates protocols as needed.
