The Space
This studio is part of a family home that offers a boutique hotel atmosphere while remaining completely independent. It features a private entrance, bathroom, kitchenette, dining area, and workspace. The studio includes a kitchenette with a mini-fridge and gas stove, a dining table, fans, and air conditioning. High-quality mattresses ensure a comfortable night's sleep.
The bed can be arranged as either one king-size or two single beds. An additional third bed can be added for an extra fee, accommodating up to three guests. Please note that adding the extra bed removes the indoor dining table, but an outdoor dining table is available.
Guests have access to an outdoor seating area with a pool and garden view. The front outdoor space is shared and includes lounges, a hammock, and a pool for relaxation.

Guest Access
Guests are welcome to use the front deck, pool, and hammocks. The studio is independent from the main house, but the host and housekeeper are available to assist if needed.

The home is shared with the host's family, including two teenage boys, a friendly rescue dog named Otto, and a Canadian cat named Tora. The host is available to help with any questions or needs.
Other Notes
Electricity costs in Nicaragua are among the highest in Central America. Guests are kindly asked to conserve energy by turning off lights, A/C, and fans when not in use. The A/C is included in the rate but intended primarily for nighttime or occasional cooling. If the A/C is used for more than 12 hours per day, an additional fee of $10 per day applies, especially relevant for full-time online workers.

My stay at Hacienda Iguana was absolutely incredible! The home was spotless, and beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully curated. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature and breathtaking views made every morning unforgettable. After amazing sunrise and sunset surf sessions, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge in a serene, beautiful setting. My wife and I visited Nica for our honeymoon and having not having to worry about our lodging was a huge help. Miki was extremely helpful and attentive. Miki is the nicest host we’ve ever had. She made us feel completely at home. She went above and beyond with everything, and her place is a gem. We highly recommend it to anybody visiting Nicaragua!

While Miki's place is fabulous, she's the best reason to rent it. Miki is so kind and helpful. My wife and I really enjoyed getting to know here. The studio is large with everything you need. It's only two blocks to the fabulous beach, beach club, and Pilis restaurant. Her pool is also so nice for lazing away the afternoon. We'll be back!
