One-of-a-Kind Akumal Villa I Private Lagoon Access

We had an amazing stay at Casa de Sol. Our group consisted of three adults and five children aged 10–13, and the property met all of our needs exceptionally well. The pool was wonderful, and the lagoon access was a real highlight. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic. Being at the end of town made it quieter than staying in the centre, while still providing easy access to everything Akumal has to offer. We made great use of the bikes, cycling to the beach, exploring the area, and heading into town for dinner. Everything felt very safe. We were welcomed by the owner, who was warm and accommodating. Alex, the concierge, was outstanding throughout our stay, helping with recommendations, bookings, transportation, and rental cars. There were 10 of us for a 50th birthday party and the house was absolutely ideal and exceeded expectations. The lagoon was gorgeous (tip - go early or late as it does get busy but that isn't a bother when your hanging around the house as it is just far enough away to give you privacy) The outdoor living area was so perfect, people can be in the pool, playing cards, in the kitchen and all still feel like your together. The beds were comfortable, washrooms clean, everything worked and the staff were so kind. Trip of a lifetime!

Thank you so much for a fantastic stay at Casa Del Sol! In every aspect the home and location exceeded expectations. Besides the amazing home having Yal Ku Lagoon in the backyard was a once in a lifetime experience!! We all wanted to stay longer. 🏝️💖☀️

La casa es espectacular y está muy bien ubicada, a un paso de la laguna y con fácil acceso en bicicleta a la playa de Akumal. Scott estuvo siempre atento, ayudándonos en todo momento con la logística, lo que hizo nuestra estancia aún más cómoda. Varias veces pedimos el servicio de comida que ofrecen Ovidio y su esposa: todo delicioso y con una calidad que supera ampliamente a los restaurantes cercanos, cuyos precios suelen ser bastante altos. Un gran detalle fueron también las cervezas de cortesía en la nevera, que apreciamos mucho al llegar. Como único punto a mejorar, la casa no cuenta con lavavajillas ni lavadora. Por lo demás, todo fue de 10. ¡Altamente recomendable!

Casa del Sol was perfect for our family vacation-the open space and access to the lagoon is truly wonderful. Merily and Ovidio are absolutely great , they cleaned and cooked for us which made our stay truly relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Our most favorite Air B and B stay yet. We loved the house and the surroundings. Obidio and Meryl were so helpful and kept the place very clean!

We had a fantastic friendcation with 11 ladies. We loved everything about the house --the lagoon, the pool, the communal areas. Having a kitchen accessible to the pool is especially wonderful. Obidio and Mary, the caretakers of the house, are very friendly and cooked us six fantastic meals. From top to bottom this was a great experience and we look forward to coming back.
