Hacienda Pinilla House 2

The house is very nice. Ten people can use it comfortably. It has a terrace with a very nice private pool. The clubhouse is fantastic, and communication with Mary was excellent. She was always attentive and proactive. We hope to return soon.

It was my first time at Hacienda Pinilla, and I really liked it. The property is very comfortable, private and quiet. Everything is spotless, and Mary is very friendly and available for anything you need. I would definitely go back.

Fully recommended if you want to have a peaceful stay. Great house, great location, close to the golf course and different beaches, great hosts!! I would pick this place without any doubts everytime!

Lovely property. Tranquil. Very private. Host is very responsive to questions. Would recommend if travelers planning to drive off property to explore places close by you should rent a 4x4. Local roads are bumpy.

Mary is an exceptional host. She is very responsive, proactive, and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. She consistently answered our questions promptly, provided helpful local recommendations, and was quick to take action whenever needed. Her flexibility and understanding made the experience even more comfortable. The stay itself was wonderful, with all the listed amenities, and the villa is both beautiful and very comfortable. That said, I would strongly recommend having a rental car or reliable vehicle access if you plan to stay here. The villa is located a bit farther from the main road and can be tricky to find initially. However, Mary provided clear and helpful directions, which made getting there much easier.

Mary was a great host and would definitely recommend staying with her. She was very proactive with local recommendations, responsive to questions, and accommodating to our pickup time. The house (including the yard) was a little smaller than expected based on the pictures, but it was beautiful.

We loved our stay at Entroterra! It is a beautiful, secluded gated community within Hacienda Pinilla. The home was perfect for my family. Each bedroom has a beautiful en-suite bathroom. The kitchen was stoked with new pots and pans, and utensils. Everything was perfectly clean. The saltwater pool was clean and refreshing.

If it’s your first time to the area, note that you will want a car because Hacienda Pinilla isn’t walkable. It is a short drive to a dozen awesome restaurants, and multiple beaches.

Mary and Nick were as good as it gets in terms of service. Mary recommended ton of incredible meals. We ran into one issue with a nail in our car tire - and Nick came over immediately and repaired the flat tire. They even brought our kids some local ice creams!

My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Mary’s home. We ended up looking for a home same day and Mary was super friendly, responsive and accommodating for same day checkin. We felt at home immediately in this private gated community. The place was beautiful, super clean and freshly welcoming when we arrived. Great amenities and a well stocked kitchen to cook a meal too! Mary and Nick were the nicest hosts they felt like friends from the moment we met them. We saw monkeys and macaws in the trees and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The beach club access was a huge plus to our stay as we enjoyed the beach access, pool and even had a family game of volleyball! The restaurant and coffee shop recommendations were delicious and the location was perfect for adventures in the area- it was the perfect unplanned part of our trip that felt meant to be! We will definitely recommend to family and friends and for future stays! We can’t wait to stay again next time we visit Costa Rica!

We had an incredible stay at Mary’s home in Hacienda Pinilla, Guanacaste. The house was absolutely beautiful, elegantly furnished, immaculately maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hacienda Pinilla itself is a secure and upscale community, offering peace of mind along with charm and luxury. The clubhouse was a highlight, stunning, elegant, and welcoming. We could not have asked for a better experience and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

A beautiful house in a beautiful area. We loved a glimpse of some of the magnificent biodiversity of Costa Rica from the back patio. Tennis and pickleball a short walk away. The beach and beach club was fantastic. Mary and her family are extremely hospitable and made the stay feel like we were staying at a friend’s house.

We had a blast for our Christmas getaway! First, Mary incredible host, super caring for everything and on the call for any questions we had. The house beautiful, private pool with garden, we loved those lamps hanging on the trees. The kitchen is set with everything we needed, great bbq nights. Bedrooms and bathrooms impeccable. And the surroundings could not get any better; beach club access, golf, tennis, morning walks, great bike rides and pet friendly! Thank you Mary we really felt as home!!! Delightful vacations. And we will be back ASAP!

Loved our stay here and had a great time. Very clean, spacious, modern and appreciate that there were comfortable beds. Mary was great communicating and answering questions. Loved seeing the monkeys playing in the trees. Well stocked with cookware, etc. Only negative is if you want to go to restaurants or the beach then you have to drive but its a very quick drive

We love Mary’s place! It’s surrounded by the woods! Big rooms with lots of comfortable beds for our kids! Love it!

Absolutely loved this house, and our hosts. Super attentive and helpful when we were stuck in some sticky situations (unfortunately timed our stay with a national disaster that came with torrential rain). Facilities within the gated community were great but do be aware you’ll need to rent a car if you want to venture any further out to get meals etc.
