Important Information
- During the rainy season, from May through November, a four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended.
- In the event of a commercial power outage, an automatic generator is available. Please inform the housekeeper if you would like to use it. Generator use costs an additional $30 per hour.
- The sixth bedroom is located in the exterior area of the house and has a separate private entrance accessible only by outdoor stairs. For safety reasons, it is not recommended for children or elderly guests.

Our experience at this property was quite disappointing, unfortunately. From the moment we arrived, we noticed a strong smell of lack of cleanliness and maintenance in the house and in several rooms, to the point that we had to buy disinfectant and air freshener products ourselves. The sheets and bedspreads on several beds were stained and smelled bad, and one of the rooms had a considerable number of ants. The showers were quite rusty, and the water flow was very low. In the kitchen, we found cockroaches and mouse droppings in the area where dishes and cups were stored, which is especially concerning given that it is a space used for food. The stove also needs maintenance. Although the listing includes a washer and dryer, the laundry area and the washer were in poor condition in terms of cleanliness, with quite a bit of rust and a very unpleasant smell. The issue of watts also caused some problems during the stay.

This place was just amazing. Mario was very responsive and friendly. The lady that awaits for you to check in was just kind and very friendly, she was responsive and explained everything in details, very lovely experience with her. The house was clean and functional, the kitchen had everything we needed, the restrooms were clean, the towels were clean and well organized, the beds and rooms were well organized and clean. The pool was clean and very relaxing, the furniture in places and the house was amazing decorated. The location had an amazing atmosphere and view and we didn’t have any issues with neighbors or the house itself. If you’re looking to spend a day in Los Altos de San Juan, that’s the right place. People should look forward working with Mario as he’s an amazing host and person. Very friendly, I’ll look forward to go back with my family. Nothing bad happens, nothing more than just good experiences.

The property was amazing! Mario is an excellent host, the fastest to respond to any need in all the time I have been using Airbnb. In less than 5 minutes, any concerns were resolved. The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions and make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Access is easy and does not require a 4x4, just as Mario assured me from the start. The rooms are extremely spacious and have bathrooms in excellent condition. The pool, warm and clean! Perfect to spend time in from early on. I was able to comfortably cook several racks of ribs on the large grill. The air-conditioning is clean and working perfectly.

I spent two nights at the house with my best friends to celebrate my birthday, and honestly, the house exceeded all of our expectations. There were 16 of us, plus two pets, and Mario was kind enough to let us bring them at no additional cost, which we really appreciated. Wendy, the housekeeper, was wonderful, she was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. She answered all of our questions promptly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house is huge, beautiful, spacious, and the perfect place to spend a vacation or celebrate a special occasion. We also appreciated that the extra electricity usage wasn’t an issue. We were respectful and responsible with our consumption, so the additional usage was minimal, and we were able to fully enjoy our stay without even needing to leave the house. Mario, our host, was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating from start to finish. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back as soon as possible. Tysm!
