We loved Papí's house!!! Everything exceeded our expectations. We felt right at home, and they were always attentive to everything we needed at the time. We really appreciate the option to check in earlier because it allows us to take better advantage of the day.

The place and location were beautiful, the yard and pool were gorgeous, the rooms were nice and clean. However there was some bugs everywhere and some small worms in the toilet when we got there, which is a little expected for Costa Rica. The front sliding door doesn’t close all the way which makes it feel less safe from bugs and other stuff. The water from the sinks and showers would stink sometimes but that might just be because of the area. The place didn’t have the best amenities. The water didn’t feel safe to drink so we had to buy our own. The main reason for my review was because of the host. I’ve never had an Airbnb host be so unresponsive. When I read the reviews I saw that and thought it would be fine, but I had many urgent questions and never got a response my whole stay. I even tried to call and they would never pick up. It sucks because it was a gorgeous place but if you’re looking in this area I would recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

Overall Papi’s Place was great. We were a walkable distance to the beach. The area had wonderful food and plenty of stores open. We were a bit concerned if places would be open over the Easter holiday, but the majority of stores stayed open. I enjoyed the pool because the Caribbean was a bit rough to swim while we stayed. Very cool place! Great accommodation!

The place is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the house has all the amenities; however, there are a lot of communication issues with the host and co-host.

We stayed at Papi's with our 2 children for 4 nights. The house was true to the photos and the kids loved the pool. We would recommend this listing.

The accommodation is just as shown in the photos, the house is cozy, well decorated and equipped with all the amenities indicated, check-in is easy and everything was very clean, I would definitely return.

The house is very nice and practical. A very charming pool with good dimensions. Very well equipped. Bring shampoo and basic condiments if you are going to cook. Recommended.

A cozy house in a safe and quiet place. Very well equipped kitchen. It is a 5-minute walk to Playa Negra. In addition to the service. I accidentally canceled my reservation and the Airbnb team, along with the host, helped me resolve it quickly.
