Wake up and step onto the beach! This is a real, Costa Rican experience, including wildlife (which can start very early in the morning:). Enjoy meeting locals, playing in ocean waves, and seeing iguanas and howler monkeys. Villa Margarita is a place unlike any other. The bungalow style apartment sits on the oceanfront of a local Sámaran family’s long-time property. It is one of the few tree-covered areas on Playa Sámara. Glass doors open up to the beach with hammocks and lounge chairs. The space Inside, there are two queen beds and a fold out sofa bed. There is a wardrobe with drawers for your clothes and another unit in the parlor area of the bathroom if additional shelving is needed. Luxury towels and sheets will be provided upon your stay. The kitchen includes a 4-burner gas stove top, oven, fridge, sink, dish rack, coffee maker, and cabinets with cookware and utensils. There is a small seating area indoors or you can eat outside with a calming ocean breeze. Your own private tropical haven also includes: Brand new AC! Indoor and outdoor showers Laundry service included in your stay * for an additional charge Housekeeping as needed (* included in your stay every seven days!) Private parking for one car Free use of boogie boards 10% off surf lessons and kayak rentals. Ask us for special pricing on boat/snorkling tours too once you get onsite. All appliances, furniture, flooring, ceiling, flooring, mattresses, and linens are all brand new! Villa Margarita is located in the Matapalo neighborhood,which is only a 10-15 minute walk on the beach from downtown Sámara. This rental is accessed from a main road and directions are provided upon booking. Please be sure to let us know upon booking if you would like surf lessons so we can schedule an instructor ahead of time. You get a 10% discount on surf lessons as our guest, and free use of boogie boards! Villa Margarita is a smoke free, drug free, healthy environment. Absolutely no smoking of anything will be tolerated!

Vi älskade detta boende! Läget är helt oslagbart, rakt på stranden och i ett mysigt område med lokalbefolkning boende runt omkring. Heather var en bra värd. Hjälpsam och snabb på att svara. Marita som tog hand om boendet på plats var helt underbar. Höll det fint och städat på utsidan, och kom till och med och bjöd oss på frukost och nybakat tortilla bröd en morgon. Standarden på huset är vad man kan förvänta sig för det priset med det läget. Några småsaker som kändes lite slitna, och vattentryck och varmvattnet i duschen var väl inte helt 100. Men detta störde inte oss särskilt mycket och på grund av läget och servicen skulle jag varmt rekommendera det! Och vi hoppas verkligen att vi kan komma tillbaka någon gång.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft aber der Strand vor der Haustür hat uns persönlich nicht gefallen, wir sind immer vor bis nach Samara gegangen, wenn wir ins Wasser wollten, da hier der Strand aufgeräumt war.

Perfecta ubicación frente al mar y comodidades cercanas. Es una experiencia que lo hace sentir a uno en un pueblo guanacasteco, a diferencia de quedarse en el centro de Samara que es más turístico.

We had an absolutely beautiful day, waking up and being able to walk out to the beach is such a dream. The house was perfect with all the amenities we needed, and the outdoor area was just wonderful. It was the perfect distance walk to town on the beach, the area felt very safe and secure, and having off street parking was great peace of mind. We will certainly be trying to book this again if we are in the area!!

Heathers place was just what we were looking for! She greeted us on arrival and showed us around. The space was beautiful and just steps to the beach. She placed loungers, hammocks and a dining table w/ chairs outside for us 🥰🙏. We arrived on a holiday so it was a bit busy, but next day was so peaceful and quiet. We practically had it to ourselves. I wish we had booked more nights…next time! I highly recommend this place.

Tolle Unterkunft mit direktem Strandzugang :) innerhalb von 10 Minuten ist man in Samara. Sehr relaxed mit eigenen Hängematten vor der Tür ☀️

L’emplacement du bengalow est simplement parfait, rare et exceptionnel. Avoir une entrée directe en première ligne sur la plage c’est magnifique. Vivre au milieu des locaux aussi. La personne sur place est vraiment chaleureuse, accueillante et aux petits soins tout en étant discrète. Le seul bémol selon moi: le logement mériterait quelques rafraîchissements (certaines portes sont très difficiles à ouvrir oû à fermer), le lit en plus pour la 5 eme personne est vraimen pas très confortable. Le logement est à mon avis idéal pour 4 personnes mais pas pour 5. Mais la localisation, et l’accueil font vite oublier ces petits désagréments. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de ce logement. Merci encore à Maritza pour sa chaleur et sa gentillesse.inconfortable. inconfortable.

The place was amazing! Hearing the ocean, the birds and the rosters every morning such a wonderful experience. There is a small mini market across the street from the air bnb which made getting milk, eggs and water from local farmers so convenient. The place was very clean and the owner was very friendly and offered us whatever we needed. The beach was very clean and the water felt amazing it was very warm and perfect to swim. The beach is also very nice for a morning walk or run. The locals were very friendly and would say hi when you pass by, there are some dogs and cats the beach that are very friendly and live peaceful with one another. This stay is truly paradise especially if you come from the city. The way people live in Costa Rica is something I wish I can have in my life every day. I highly recommend this air bnb, definitely worth the cost, you get a much better experience of Costa Rica than staying at a hotel. Thank you for everything Heather, Pura Vida! 🇨🇷
