The Space

Tuani Lodge is nestled in the jungle near the beach, offering an authentic Nicaraguan retreat. It is within walking distance of Playa Colorado, one of the most secluded and peaceful beaches in the area. Guests can enjoy the unique experience of staying close to nature, waking up to the calls of howler monkeys while having all the comforts of home.

The lodge features a spacious three-story main house with a kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. In addition, there are three detached two-story bungalows, each equipped with a private bathroom and four beds. Every bedroom, whether in the main house or a bungalow, includes its own private bathroom. Guests can choose to stay in either a bungalow or a private bedroom.

The property is situated on a hillside overlooking the Río Murciélago riverbed. Although the river is usually dry, it fills during the heavy rains in June and October. The river flows directly to the reliable surf breaks at Panga Drops.

Location

Tuani Lodge’s secluded setting is close enough to the ocean to hear the waves crashing during the rainy season. A forest hiking trail runs alongside the riverbed, leading to the beach. This trail offers an excellent opportunity to observe the local flora and fauna.

Other Information

This is a shared homestay. While each renter’s bedroom and bathroom are private, guests share access to the kitchen, patio, and barbecue spaces if other renters are present in the bungalows.
