The rooftop master suite offers panoramic views, a private terrace, lush gardens, and a Jacuzzi—an ideal setting for peaceful sunsets overlooking San Miguel.
Two additional suites are located on the ground floor. Internal stairs can be opened to connect with Casa del Pirul below, creating a spacious five-suite, 5.5-bathroom retreat for larger gatherings.
Each suite includes a private bathroom stocked with:
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Body care products
The property also features a full kitchen for shared meals and gatherings.
Location and Property
La Casa de las Bugambilias is located within Villas Xichu, a holistic wellness center set on a 12,000-square-meter gated property. The grounds feature centuries-old trees and volcanic rock, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The property includes:
- A traditional temazcal, or hot lodge, operated by authentic shamans
- A two-story conference center
- A zen space on the upper floor for yoga, Pilates, and other spiritual practices
- A ground-floor event space with a piano for academic events, corporate retreats, and celebrations

Gloria was always attentive from the beginning, all the staff were always attentive to our needs, the place is very nice, we were lucky to have all the facilities just for us, the location is outside the city but relatively close, if you are looking for peace and quiet it is the best option

The property is located in a wonderful gated garden. Amazing rooftop terrace. Little distanced from downtown and no nearby supermarkets or restaurants. Unfortunately, Gloria was not home when we were there, which made the communication a little complicated as the staff is only speaking Spanish.

My family and I stayed here for four nights. The place was comfortable and clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We were lucky and were the only ones in the villa. The staff was great and helpful. We would definitely stay here again It is a place to rest and enjoy. The only complaints we had was that there was no TV, which we understand it is supposed to be Place to rest and find inner peace and be connected with nature. It does have wifi and worked well. The other complain was that it is a bit far from the plaza. You definitely need a taxi or Uber to get there (10min drive). It is too far to go walking. But like I said, we would definitely stay here again. My wife is already planning our next day.

Excellent set of private villas just a short walk or drive away from downtown. The house I stayed in was picturesque and had everything needed. Gloria was also very responsive in scheduling a driver to the airport and everything else else necessary. I highly recommend this space.
