The Space
Relax with the whole family in this peaceful two-bedroom, two-bathroom penthouse suite, which accommodates up to five guests. Located on the top floor of Plaza La Talanguera Condo, the property offers convenient access to town.

The entire condo is yours to enjoy. Please note that the pool is shared with other residents.

Electricity and Damage Deposit
Electricity is not fully included in the rental price. For short-term stays, 20 kilowatt-hours per day are included. Usage beyond that amount is charged at USD 0.50 per kilowatt-hour.
Average electricity usage is 15–35 kilowatt-hours per day. Being mindful of electricity consumption helps us maintain our rental prices, as electricity is very expensive in Nicaragua. Please turn off the air conditioning and other appliances when they are not in use.
Upon arrival, you will be asked to provide a USD 200 damage deposit and sign an agreement accepting responsibility for:
- Electricity charges exceeding the included usage
- Any damage caused to the property
Check-In and Check-Out
When available, early check-in may be offered for an additional fee. Standard check-in is at 1:00 p.m.
Late check-out may be available for a fee of USD 30 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Great place to stay, but be prepared for a workout. There are no elevators, and you have to carry your bags up three flights of stairs

Had the following problems. 1. Far from town 2.’ Load road noice 3. Window rattle slot dificult to sleep 4. My vehicle was vandalize parked in the parking lot. More that $3 thousand dollars in damage. Nobody saw anything. Just didn’t pick up the phone when called. Maybe because she doesn’t live in country.!! 5. No Tv Camaras on site or parking lot. Unsecured area. No security whatsoever so ever. 6. Apartment had a humid smell.

Our family of 4 had a great 4 night stay at Claudia's! Her place was clean and equipped with all the basics for a comfortable stay. When we did reach out to Claudia, she was always quick to respond and did so in a friendly and helpful manner. She even arranged a taxi from the Costa Rica border for us as well as the delivery of another jug of water. As others have mentioned, the pool near the condo is small (but easy to access). We found another larger pool at the opposite end of the complex behind the Pizza House and it was excellent! The condo is an easy walk to the main streets of SJDS, a quick walk to a small pulperia (Stop and Buy) and a 1.3km walk to a larger store (Ahorra Mas). We ate at Henry's Iguana and it was great! We also used Casa Oro for surf lessons and enjoyed a day at Tree Casa - amazing place and delicious pizzas. A few things: the shower pressure is minimal, the couch well loved and having to think about AC usage can be frustrating. Still, a great place to stay!

Claudia was extremely helpful and communicative, helped us coordinate a driver from and back to the border. There was some hot water issue which was addressed the day after check in. Overall great stay and great place and would recommend Claudia as a host.

Thank you for the proactive welcome! The contact person on site was very nice. It's easy to get from the condo to the beach, where there are many restaurants. The advice regarding taxi services was very helpful, and there are several activities possible from the condo.

I really enjoyed staying here; the apartment was just as described. Claudia was a great host; she responded to all my questions quickly. You're already planning our next vacation right here. 😊

Great apartment. Due to the strong wind outside, the doors and windows creaked and squeaked quite a bit. The sofa is really in need of renewal. Also close to the village. A 10-minute walk. Nice little restaurant around the corner; Lomo Pinita.

We had a pleasant stay at Claudia’s place. The location is very practical, as it’s on the way to Maderas and close enough to the village of San Juan, which made getting around easy. The space itself is clean, nice, and well laid out, and Claudia was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. There are just a few points worth noting for future guests. The pool did not meet our expectations, as it was dirty and located in a corner that felt less inviting. The mattresses were quite soft and not very comfortable for us, and the master bedroom let in a lot of light early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep once the sun came up. Additionally, the showers would benefit from some maintenance, as the water pressure was low and the shower head sprayed unevenly. Overall, despite these points, we still had a nice stay and would recommend the place, especially for its location, cleanliness, and the host’s availability and kindness.
