The Space
Villa Lola 1 is a charming tropical retreat located just a five-minute walk from the beach. It combines tropical design with modern comforts, making it an ideal spot to unwind, connect with nature, and experience the best of Nosara. The house is situated close enough to restaurants and shops for convenience, yet far enough to avoid the busiest areas.
Nestled next to a natural reserve, this beautiful oasis offers a unique chance to observe wildlife such as howler monkeys, iguanas, coatis, and raccoons right from the property. You can easily walk to the beach in under five minutes and explore the top restaurants and shops nearby. Additional nearby attractions include the NCA trails, supermarket, skate park, and the Tuesday Farmers Market.
From the patio, guests can enjoy views of the pool and its waterfall. Dinner-time security from 6 pm to 9 pm is provided. The house is equipped with a MistAway organic mosquito repellent system and an electronic alarm security system.

Guests at Villa Lola have full access to the shared pool and barbecue area, which is shared between the two houses on the property.

Please note that theft can be an issue in Central America, with electronics being common targets. Petty theft occasionally occurs in Nosara, often around sunset or dinner time when the house may be unoccupied. Guests are advised to remain vigilant and use the provided security features.

Outstanding villa, in a perfect location. Super-responsive hosts, who helped with any number of extras. Other than some pesky ants, it is the perfect accomodations in a very special town.

Casa Lola was superb. We visited Nosara last year, but stayed further out of town in a more isolated area. This stay was both right in town and walkable to everything, and it is also still peaceful and private. Though tucked next to a restaurant, we weren't bothered by any noise, as it wasn't open late. The town overall quiets down at night. There is a shared pool, but the design is done in a way that the area is still private and easy to share. For a large group, getting both of the houses would be well worth it. All three bedrooms had ample space and all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. The living room and kitchen are well done. Our family would highly recommend staying here.

My family loved our stay at Villa Lola. We walked everywhere we needed to - restaurants, grocery, cafes, beach, etc. The pool was incredible on hot days and great for our daughter who’s learning to swim. I’m the backyard we had lizard friends and occasionally saw monkeys and anteaters. We didn’t realize from the pictures that there are huge plants and an open air space near the living room. When it rains it waters the plants and feels magical. The bathrooms and kitchen were great as well. David and his team were a great help and welcomed us.

Our stay at Villa Lola was amazing. We had 3 families stay there and we all felt so comfortable and relaxed. They made everything so easy for us. You can walk everywhere from there and if you can’t, David will help with any transportation, and/or activity you would like to do.

Our stay and Villa Lola was wonderful. The location is great for easy access to the beach, restaurants, and the main Guiones area. The property was clean and as described - everything we needed. The host was great - very responsive and helpful. We would recommend this property.
