The Space
This new villa is located in the bohemian neighborhood of La Veleta. Its outdoor areas include:

The indoor and outdoor living areas flow together as one fresh, harmonious, organic space. Each of the three bedrooms features windows that open wide, bringing the outdoors inside and creating a strong connection with nature.
The comfortable living room includes a television with streaming services and an audio system. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing meals with fresh products from the local markets, which are located close to the villa.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Casa Akbal has three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom:
- Two suites are located on the main level.
- The master suite is located on the second floor.
The master suite includes a private outdoor shower and a balcony where you can enjoy Tulum’s starry nights. Two additional outdoor showers are conveniently positioned in the garden and solarium.

- A private bathroom and shower
- Air conditioning

Guests staying at Casa Akbal can access several exclusive beach clubs. We can provide alternatives, including visits to the beach clubs at the boutique hotels My Way and Villa las Estrellas, as well as the eclectic Taboo.
These venues are located on some of Tulum’s most idyllic beaches, and guests can enjoy special benefits by reservation.
Golf
Casa Akbal has an agreement with PGA Riviera Maya, one of the area’s most beautiful golf courses, located at Tulum Country Club by Bahia Principe.
We can arrange a golf outing and provide a special discount on your green fee.

Additional Information
After every stay, the property undergoes thorough cleaning and disinfection. Disinfection is performed by one of the few companies certified by COFEPRIS for this purpose.

Our stay at CASA Akbal was the best Airbnb experience to date. The house is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located in the La Veleta section. It offers the best of both worlds: convenient to the main Tulum strip while surrounded by authentic local spots and delicious restaurants just minutes away. Traveling with a toddler and an infant, safety was our priority, and we never felt anything less than completely secure. The layout is also very manageable for young children. The team truly sets this place apart. Gabby (host) and Poncho (maintenance) are exceptional. Communication was crystal clear, and they coordinated everything perfectly—from golf and in-villa massages to private chef dinners, beach clubs, and drivers. If you want a seamless luxury experience with a local feel, look no further. We will be back!

What a fabulous time we had at Casa Akbal! Communication was great from before we booked until after we left. Gaby was a great host; always offering recommendations of where to go and making bookings for us. Poncho really looked after us too; tidying the villa everyday, doing shopping - it really made a difference. The location was perfect. We wanted to stay somewhere local, close to shops and restaurants. There was so much to do within walking distance. La Valletta is a great area and easy to walk to Downtown Tulum too. The beach areas were further away and I would recommend having a car or bike as taxis back and forth could be expensive. The facilities at the villa were great. We didn't really need to ask for anything but if we had, Gaby and Poncho would have sorted pronto! We would definitely stay here again. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Don't think twice about booking a stay at Casa Akbal - the owners and staff really go the extra mile. This is one of the best managed and maintained AirBnB's that we have visited. Many thanks to Gabriela and Poncho, who were accommodating, responsive, helpful in providing recommendations, and flexible when our plans needed to shift around at times. The casa is well located in Tulum - within walking distance to most of what you may need + some great dining options.
