Casita 4 Cozy jungle casita designed for a peaceful stay, fully immersed in nature. Includes: -Queen bed -Single bed -Private bathroom -Private terrace with jungle views -Kitchen There are no glass windows. Instead, the cabin features large screened openings with high-quality mosquito nets. All water on the property comes from our natural spring and is part of the experience (no hot water). Free yoga classes are offered Monday to Saturday at 7:30 am in our open-air Shala. The space Alya sits within a living subtropical forest. It is a place to live in nature. Wildlife is part of everyday life here: howler and white-faced monkeys, pizotes, iguanas, parrots, and many other birds. They don’t appear on demand. They come when they want. And that is part of the experience. The 11 casitas are spread throughout the property, well-spaced from one another, creating privacy, silence, and a true sense of openness. They are rustic, well-cared-for jungle cabins with quality mattresses, designed for a real immersion in nature, with a spirit similar to glamping: essential comfort, natural materials, and a constant connection to the outdoors. You sleep surrounded by the jungle: monkeys calling at dawn, rain falling on the leaves, the breeze moving through the night, crickets marking the rhythm after sunset. Guest access Guests have access to the entire 20-acre property, including: - All trails and paths throughout the subtropical forest - Open-air lounge area - Yoga platform (open-air, overlooking forest canopy) - Your private casita with terrace The property is yours to explore, wander, and experience at your own pace. Other things to note We sit in the hills above San Juanillo, Guanacaste. Just a short drive ( 5 minutes) from Playa San Juanillo, close to Ostional, and 15km from Nosara (35-minute drive). The final stretch of road is unpaved. A 4x4 is recommended during rainy season. Taxis run to town for $10 each way. WiFi (via Starlink) is available in common areas and inside each casita. Cell service is limited. The property is private, peaceful, and safe.

Such a incredible stay. We loved being tucked away especially after coming from busier parts of CR. Shlomo is a great yoga teacher and gave us some travel tips to plan our next move down the peninsula. The breakfast we had in their cafe was amazing and we also had all the basics we needed to cook our own meals in the casita. We stayed for Sunday morning ecstatic dance before leaving & it was a great way to connect with the broader community this retreat serves. The only slight bother was being able to hear noises from our neighboring casita a little too clearly/close by, but turning fans on helped drown that out. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend! Best place to be engulfed in nature and so many nearby beaches, sweet towns. Rugged roads so get a 4WD or similar!

השהייה שלנו בבית של שלמה עלתה מעל לכל הציפיות שלנו. השהות שלנו שם הייתה כל כך נעימה ומשמעותית. הבקתה עצמה נעימה ויפה, עם טבע מכל הכיוונים, מטבח שכיף לבשל בו, מיטה נוחה, מקלחת כיפית ודק בחוץ שפונה אל הג'ונגל. המתחם כולו שקוע בתוך הג'ונגל ויש אזורים משותפים למדורה וליוגה. שלמה הוא הלב של המקום, בן אדם אדיב שנעים לשהות במחיצתו ולשוחח. הוא מעביר כל בוקר שיעורי יוגה שעוד יותר מעצימים את החוויה, פותחים את הלב ומחברים לעצמך ולטבע. בטוח שנחזור שוב! תודה!

Points positifs : dépaysant, reposant. Points négatifs : Manque de communication : on ne se sent pas vraiment chez soi et pas si bien accueillis… les explications vites expédiées, et on attend toujours des réponses à nos questions. - idem pour les cours de yoga, aucune introduction. On doit suivre le mouvement et c’est tout. Sans compter les 30min de retard quotidienne de Schlomo, ainsi qu’un matin où il n’est pas venu et n’avons jamais été prévenu. Heureusement qu’une autre cliente était elle-même prof et nous a improvisé gentiment un cours à la place. - Frigo vraiment très sale - Peu d’ustensiles de cuisine (obligé de quémander des torchons et une casserole au près de la cuisinière par manque de réponse au message.) - On nous annonce un petit dej devenu payant (12$…) alors qu’inclus à l’origine Heureusement on ne nous l’a pas décompté. - Moustiquaire vétuste avec beaucoup de trous. Cet endroit certes paisible ne nous a pas mis à l’aise par manque d’attention des hôtes

Incredible, wild experience I would recommend to anyone with a strong sense of adventure. Rainforest glamping with a gorgeous pristine beach 10 mins away. Morning breathwork with Shlomo is included. Hannah, Gabriela, and Shlomo were usually available and helpful. Communal cooking, horseback riding, and surfing were more than I’d hoped for. Vibe was unique and authentic. One note is to arrive before sunset. Dirt roads are without street lamps and everything looked the same upon first glance- staff goes to sleep early and given the remoteness you don’t want to rely upon the kindness of strangers. 💗

It is a really special place in many ways. The microclimate, the ambiance, the yoga, casitas, and dogs. Everything mixes perfectly together. Microclimat is different from what you normally experience being close to the water. The place is sunked into the rainforest, making it shady and comfortable even during a midday. You may even want to dress up over early morning!

Der Aufenthalt war ein pures Erlebnis. Der Ort ist magisch. Die Zeit war für uns (paar) sehr bereichernd und lehrreich. Die Menschen dort sind unfassbar wertschätzend und gutherzig. Die beiden Hunde Chiva und flor sind ebenso herzallerliebst. Das kleine Häuschen ist - wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. (Ausgenommen von der Hängematte) Doch egal worum es geht , man kann alles erfragen und es wird einem weitergeholfen. Ein wichtiger Punkt ist noch zu nennen, gerade wenn man länger dort bleiben möchte , sollte man sich irgendwie etwas mitnehmen , in dem man seine Dinge gut verstauen kann, da zur Regenzeit , die Dinge sehr leicht anfangen zu schimmeln , aufgrund der Feuchtigkeit. Das war tatsächlich eigentlich nur ein Punkt, ansonsten war es wirklich unvergesslich. Affen kannst du dort beobachten Pisoten , Schmetterlinge , Kröten, wunderschöne Vögel und eben was der Jungle so zu bieten hat. Ach noch sehr wichtig. Ein Geländewagen 4x4 Allrad unfassbar wichtig. Ansonsten kann es auch sein, dass du gar nicht erst dorthin gelangst. Bzw auch weg kommst - je nach dem wie die Straßen dann zu dem Zeitpunkt sind. Nur allgemein sollte man sich für Costa Rica einen 4x4 Wagen mieten , denn die meisten Straßen dort sind nicht befestigt. Das Frühstück dort ist auch sehr liebevoll zu bereitet und alles vegan und frisch. Es gibt selbstgemachten Humus und Nussmuse. Alles sind sehr freundlich und ich kann den Ort für neue Erfahrungen nur weiter empfehlen, wenn man wirklich mal was ganz anderes erleben möchte. Auch bzgl Communitylife. Ich bin auf jeden Fall sehr sehr dankbar, dass ich dort sein durfte 💜 Es war ein Erlebnis fürs Leben. Danke dir Shlomo !

We had a great stay! You really get a taste for being with wildlife and the cabin is very beautiful. Close by to beaches and Nosara! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
