Grocery Shopping

The closest grocery store is La Colonia in Rivas, located 100 meters south of the Tola turnoff on the west side of the street. It is recommended to stock up on groceries for your entire stay here. Fuel stations are also available in Rivas.

Rentals for scooters, dirt bikes, surfboards, boogie boards, and stand-up paddleboards are also available here.

Getting Around

The property is approximately a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua and about 4 hours from Liberia Airport in Costa Rica.

Most major car rental agencies operate at Managua airport; reservations are recommended in advance. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is only necessary if you plan to visit beaches further south, such as those near San Juan del Sur.

For those who prefer not to rent a car, airport transfers and daily sightseeing or surf trips can be arranged. Motorcycle and scooter rentals are available, as well as vehicle and boat transportation to other surf breaks.

Additionally, Alamo and National have rental offices near Hacienda Iguana for convenient vehicle pickup.
