The property manager is available daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with emergency support from 5:00 pm to 8:00 am.
Complimentary guest and concierge services are included. While Costa Rica offers many familiar conveniences, navigating a foreign country can be challenging. The team is available to help customize your experience and itinerary to make the most of your stay.
Services offered (at additional cost and subject to availability) include:
- Booking surf lessons and ATV tours
- Arranging rental cars or shuttles
- Organizing private chefs and massages
Security
Nosara is a wonderful community, but like many tourist areas, petty theft can occur, typically targeting cash and personal belongings. To minimize risks, the property manager seeks to understand guest group dynamics to ensure the best housing match and reduce potential issues.
Guests are encouraged to inquire for more information. If not included, a dinner guard can be arranged at an extra cost.
Guests are responsible for securing their valuables and enabling all security features whenever leaving the property.
Internet and Electricity
Utility services in the jungle can be unpredictable, with possible interruptions to power, phone, and internet. Guests should avoid leaving electronics plugged in during rainstorms.
There is no guarantee of continuous internet access. However, mobile phone signal with Kolbi is strong, and data plans are affordable. For reliable connectivity, guests are advised to bring an unlocked phone and purchase a Kolbi SIM card.
Neither the homeowner nor the property manager controls these utilities, and no refunds or discounts will be provided for service outages.
Any property issues should be reported promptly to the property manager.
Water Supply
During the dry season (December through April), water pressure may be low due to temporary or scheduled outages. Guests will be notified of any planned interruptions or shut-offs when possible.
Wildlife and Insects
While the home is thoroughly cleaned before arrival and regularly fumigated, the jungle environment means insects such as ants, beetles, spiders, and others may be present year-round. Bugs are more active during the rainy season from May to November.
To reduce insect presence during your stay, please:
- Keep food wrapped and refrigerated
- Clean kitchen surfaces regularly
- Keep screen doors closed, especially at night
The homeowners and property manager are not responsible for fumigation or removal of insects during the guest’s stay.
Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued for natural disasters, water or internet outages, security incidents, loss of personal property, or noise from nearby construction. The area is rapidly developing, and construction activity may occur nearby.
Insurance
Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase traveler insurance to cover unforeseen events, accidents, or circumstances that might prevent travel or fulfillment of rental terms.

we had a great stay in Playa Guiones! The home is walkable to town with plenty of great restaurants and beaches nearby. Kattia is an amazing host and gave great recommendations. Would love to stay here again.

Great stay, extremely attentive and accommodating host! Location was great for my family, but could be tough for families with very young children.

The place was really clean and host was very responsive. The pool was great! So nice to have as it was a littler further to the beach than we anticipated. About a 10 min walk on the highway or 3 minute drive. We had some difficulty with internet connection which sounds like it’s normal for the area. The host also warned us of some construction next door which wasnt too bad. Overall, we really enjoyed the place.

We enjoyed Casa Coronado! There was construction next door and the Casa is very close to the road so it can be noisy. The internet service was up and down, sometimes out for hours. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen served our needs. Thanks to our hosts!

Vacation Nosara was communicative and responsive. The home was clean and spacious. King bed bathroom had double-sinks and shared bathroom had a single (was a little tight). ACs, wifi, fans, lighting, outlets, W/D and Apple TV work well. Digital lock was finicky- VN biked over a key when the door code didn’t work. Upon request, we were also delivered a key for the lockable storage room for our electronics. Home comes with basics- towels, toiletries, soaps, detergent, oil, salt, pepper. Kitchen could use tupperware. The property ends at the very edge of the pool and a short wall separates this property from the next. Facade work was taking place just beyond the dividing wall and privacy was limited during the day. Saw-dust would occasionally blow over into the pool/outdoor dining and we found it a little hard to relax at times. Security, cleaning staff, recommended chef, and tour guide were kind and knowledgeable. Francesca and Max were an essential part of what was an amazing trip!

We really loved the location and layout of this home. It is located central to the town center and right off the main road. We rented a golf cart to get around and that worked very well for us and was very fun! We liked the layout as it provided both privacy and gathering spaces. The construction was loud but that was told to us before our stay and is in the listing, so we were well aware. Hands down the best part of staying at this property was the concierge service that came with the rental! To me this was worth every penny of the rental and then some. I had been is Costa Rica for 3 weeks and am a travel planner. I had planned and booked every little thing myself leading up to my stay and was exhausted. It was so nice to have their help with things and local knowledge! They were able to help book transportation (even very last minute), grocery shopping and delivery and were willing to help with all of the little questions I had.

Spacious and clean house, nice size pool (about 15x15 feet in size), covered patio offers essential shade, fans outside and inside are great. Good sized bedrooms with great storage an AC unit and fan in each. Beds are very comfortable, with good quality linens. Neighbouring homes are VERY close and road noise is constant, pack ear plugs for sleeping. Driveway is VERY steep. ATVs work great. If renting a golf cart specify you need a Yamaha; we had a non-Yamaha cart and had push it at the top of the driveway if we had more than two adults in the cart. The safe is VERY small; laptops, i-pads, e-readers, will NOT fit in the safe so leave those at home or bring your own solution to secure them. Kitchen equipment is very bare bones. The fridge does not have an ice maker or water dispenser.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property and location. With three teenagers it was very spacious and open, high ceilings and very relaxing. The pool was a top draw everyday after the beach, very relaxing. The surrounding area was great, very close to restaurants and the beach. Would def return!
