Great stay at Villa Tucan. Very handy to be walkable to the sodas, restaurants and shops of La Fortuna. We had a last minute change of plan and booked on the day. Carlos was very responsive and friendly and met us at the villa later that evening to greet us and show us around. Villa itself is beautiful. Very large open air living space and pool with 4.5 bedrooms with a/c in each bedroom. Plenty of bathrooms and useful kitchen space. We appreciated the recommendations of local sodas and activities. Highly recommend soda Viquez for supper. We could have stayed longer!

We had several setbacks to have an extraordinary stay. At one point, the water went out and there was no cistern. We were also without electricity for about two hours, which meant spending part of the time in the dark, and there was no generator. On the other hand, we couldn't enjoy the pool because it was raining practically our entire stay. Being responsible with my review, I think the accommodation needs a little more attention (cleaning in the courtyard, cabinets, fans, etc.), because I am an asthmatic patient and I was accompanied by adults over 80 years old.

Our group of 8 had an amazing stay here! The open air concept was so fresh and unique. We loved seeing a random lizard and gecko around the house. The pool was very refreshing and walking to the shops and coffee was great. We had the private chef from nativo chef come and they were such a treat! Absolutely recommend! Great communication and super friendly host!

Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive, including giving us tons of great restaurant recommendations within walking distance that was all spot-on. The place had a gorgeous view and the house was so comfortable and unique. we highly recommend this house. I would stay there again next time we are in La Fortuna.

The house is exactly as it shows in the pictures. The open living room and kitchen into the backyard made it easy to keep an eye on the kids in the pool. There is plenty of space to hang out. The laundry access was a huge plus. Located near so many neat shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Villa Tucan was a small happiness in Costa Rica for our group! Everything was good. It was perfect with fully prepared amenities and kitchen utensils, air conditioner, swimming pool, etc. Even though there was heavy rain in La Fortuna due to the ideal temperature, it didn't interfere with our stay, and we were able to cook and eat without getting wet in the open common space. This is a highly recommended accommodation!
