Reservas Kalawala is a charming complex of two apartments in the heart of Puerto Viejo. Each apartment is built entirely of wood and located above a delightful Italian bakery.
Every apartment includes:
- A fully equipped kitchen
- Two cozy bedrooms
- A lovely terrace
- Two air-conditioning units
- One well-equipped bathroom
The Space
All spaces described here are private, including the kitchen and bathroom. You will have everything you need for a comfortable, home-like stay.
Cleaning services are provided for reservations of five nights or longer. Our team will contact you during your stay to arrange a convenient cleaning time.
Additional Information
If you have a special request, please let us know. We will be happy to accommodate you whenever possible.
If you need a pack-and-play crib during your stay, please inform us in advance. We will set it up in your room during the cleaning service.
We trust our guests to use common sense when leaving the apartment, so there are no specific checkout rules or checklists. Simply place the keys in the lockbox and let us know that you have checked out. Thank you for your cooperation.

Puerto Viejo was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica, and it was even better to have stayed at this Airbnb. Comfortable, clean, safe and very nice facilities. We felt right at home. I would definitely return on a future trip.

Excellent place 💗💗 It's even better than the photos. It is located in the center of Puerto Viejo, close to many restaurants. Highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again!

The place is located in a very good area, close to downtown Puerto Viejo and across from the beach access. It is on the second floor and below the apartment there is a coffee shop. The bread is delicious and they give you a discount for staying there. The only downside I would mention is parking, since it is behind the bakery's kitchen and on a public street. However, everything is super good. I would definitely come back.

Second time in Puerto Viejo. First time staying in the main road. Great location walkable to everything you need. Newly furnished place with the smell of a bakery as a plus. The walls can be a little thin, but nothing to stop you from resting and enjoying the space.
