I don’t write many reviews, but after staying at Borja’s AMAZING property, I absolutely had to share my experience. This was, without a doubt, one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had. The property is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Honestly, the pictures don’t even do it justice you really have to see it in person to appreciate just how spectacular, beautiful, and unique the place is. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. I had an incredible time and can already say with confidence that I will absolutely be staying here again. And then there’s Borja. Easily one of the best hosts I’ve ever had on Airbnb. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. He made both me and my guest feel completely at home from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. The housekeeper and security team were also fantastic. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Borja & his team and I'll defo be back!

The accommodation is truly beautiful, just as seen in the photos, and we loved the location/design. We enjoyed a very nice time. The only detail that we consider important to mention for future stays is the cleanliness, as we found some areas that required more attention to live up to a property of this level. Other than that, the place has huge potential and the host was very friendly.

5 Stars — The Icon Mansion exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary stay. Borja, the owner, was incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely understanding throughout our entire experience. Any question or concern we had was met with warmth and real attentiveness — you can tell he truly cares about his guests having an exceptional time. Cristian, our host on the ground, was absolutely outstanding. He was present, responsive, and made sure every single need was taken care of without us ever having to ask twice. Having someone that attentive and reliable made the whole experience stress free and seamless. The housekeeping staff deserves just as much praise. They were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with whatever we needed. The property was immaculate throughout our stay. The Icon Mansion is the standard for group stays in Medellin. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in the city!

The Icon Resort was a vacation all on its own. The property was beautiful and the indoor/outdoor design was next level. Birds would fly in to the main living room, walk around and say hello before taking flight. The entire villa was massive - you would walk outside across beautiful walkways to enter other wings of the property. Although massive, the space still boasted a zen vibe. The staff was extremely responsive to all our needs. Cristian, Ciro, Jacob, and the housekeeping girls were always smiling and attentive. If I ever come back to Medellin, I'm coming back to the Icon!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The bed was super cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the space felt very welcoming. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see, yet quiet and peaceful at night. An absolutely incredible stay! We rented the property for our wedding weekend, and it exceeded every expectation. From arrival, the unique architecture and magical atmosphere make it feel like living in a fantasy dream. We hosted our welcome party on the rooftop, which set the perfect tone for the weekend every guest was blown away by the views. Each space is thoughtfully curated with its own distinct vibe. Coming home after our wedding to host an after-party in the club was a highlight and so much fun.The garden and creek are serene, and the dome adds an almost otherworldly touch. The rooftop was our favorite place, offering breathtaking views of Medellín day and night. Seeing cows grazing nearby added an authentic Colombian cultural layer to the experience. Borja and his team were extremely attentive throughout. If you love nature, art, and breathtaking views, look no further, this place is truly impressive.

The property has beautiful design elements and the team was responsive via phone. Manuel was especially helpful, and we appreciated that irons were provided in each room. Unfortunately, several issues overshadowed the positives: mold in rooms, no running water for multiple hours before a planned excursion resulting in an not ideal experience, two electricity outages, and a leaking jacuzzi that created a hazard and a wet bedroom 1 bed. The water supply was unreliable ranging from hot to cold sporadically, and bugs were a serious problem—we even found them in beds and pillows. Some windows did not close properly, worsening the issue. An extra guest fee of $250 was requested outside Airbnb, which was unclear and felt improper. Towels and cleaning were only provided on request despite staff being present. The on site manager doesn’t speak English, so expect to rely on translators apps. For the price, the property experience fell short. I have shared this directly with the owner.
