The house is large and beautiful and the pictures are very accurate to what you are getting. You can find a few more photos on the Costa Verde website for bungalow A-14. Check in is at the reception desk and they drive you to your place. The third bedroom is now closed in completely with glass and while it doesn’t have its own A/C there’s a fan and with the door open you can easily have a very nice temperature in this room from the A/C in the living room. The views from the patio/terrace area are phenomenal and the grounds are very nice. The kitchen is limited but functional, as shown in the pictures. Housekeeping came every day and kept the place impeccably clean. The screened in bathrooms were really delightful, like an outdoor shower without the animals and bugs joining you. One slight downside is the roof is the kind that will be very loud in a rain storm. Very convenient to El Avion and El Wagon and the hotel pools are lovely.

Amazing place, excellent location! Highly recommend this place. Ladies come to clean your house every day which is great! Lots of sightseeing animals around the house and the view is great. We will come back again.

Wow, what a mess. This space was a shrunken version of what was portrayed in the listing, rooms were cramped and the shared bathroom was tiny and damp. The AC only worked with a single key, so if the group split only one of us could use AC. The kitchen was an electric 2 burner stove that required crawling under the cabinets to turn on, the touchscreen controls on the stove were difficult to work and it barely got hot enough to fry an egg. We were moved to nearby room our last night, with a stove that would not turn off (had to unplug) and a broken microwave, 1 luxurious bedroom and a huge weird space with 3 beds and no privacy. The porch was the redeeming feature of the place, beautiful views and cute lighting surrounded by jungle...  and the sounds of semi trucks and loud music and bad karaoke. It was loud enough to keep us up in our bedrooms, nothing like a bad saxophone rendition of 80s classics to lull you to sleep on a vacation. The chairs seemed to be designed by someone who hates humans. But there were nice tables and 2 rocking chairs. The 3rd "bedroom" was a single bunkbed shoved into a closet. There are no window, just screens, so it is both loud and very hot. The bed is so close to the wall that a small person must turn sideways and shimmy through to get into bed. The light was blocked by the top bunk, so I had to read by headlamp. There is a tiny table that wouldn't even fit my backpack, and barely enough room to change clothes with the door closed. This room would be fun and quirky for children, but is barely a bedroom and very uncomfortable for the average adult. The "laundry" was a service through the hotel that cost $1 per shirt and 50¢for underwear. It would have cost us upwards of $150 to wash laundry for the 5 of us, and each of us packed only a small 40l backpack. In town, there is no self serve laundry, so each of us spent $20-30 to have our laundry washed, which took 7 hours, and 2 trips to town. There were only 4 bath towels for the 5 of us, and the front desk wanted to charge us for an additional towel. The location was convenient but by far the most touristy place in all of Manuel Antonio. Surrounded by loud, overpriced resort restaurants, and a 20 minute walk to the beach (the listing said 5 minutes... the walk from the bottom of the resort, not our "apartment"). This would be a good place for a family looking for the touristy resort experience, but was the least pleasant part of our trip. We stayed closer to quepos the last 2 nights and it was much more quiet and relaxed. The host appears to work for the resort and sell their rooms through Airbnb, if you're looking for a home with a proper kitchen, space, and quiet to relax, this ain't it.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Shannon's bungalow. We were able to visit amazing restaurants nearby which had good deals on good food (El Avion and El Wagon - would highly recommend checking out!), and we were close enough to walk to the beach. We even got to see monkeys nearby! The resort area that's included is nice and private and has an amazing view of the beach as well. Overall the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a spot in Manuel Antonio!

Nice place to stay! It has all for a nice gateway vacation! Fresh seafood, beautiful ocean views and beach! Few minutes driving away from Manuel Antonio National Park. We definitely recommend this place to stay in !!!

The most amazing thing about this property is the location - you simply cannot beat it! The view from the villa is incredible looking down over the gorgeous Manuel Antonio National Park - breathtaking! The place itself is spacious with two double rooms and 2 good bathrooms. My daughter also loved the little bunk room off the kitchen, she thought it was super cosy. Being part of a larger resort was fun too. My husband is an airplane enthusiast, and this resort has planes repurposed as restaurants and apartments which he loved. My kids enjoyed the resort pools, and the adult only pool has a bar and an incredible viewing platform over the water. The villa itself is just steps to restaurants which is so convenient but feels like you are right in the middle of the jungle with monkeys, parrots and other wildlife all around. We would certainly return!
