Pros: -Great home and property! -The Pool Club was a GREAT restaurant and nice pool. I was nervous at first since it’s shared access for the entire property and we had younger kids but it was actually pretty family friendly and I also feel like the adults only crowd had their times to shine :) -Was nervous about going to Secret Beach on the boat since it was for 4 hours at the beach, no transportation once there, and again, we had kids, but it was probably one of the highlights!! Please take advantage of that! -Plenty other amazing pros but want to list some cons. Cons (Not on M&B) -We’ve been to San Pedro before about 3 years ago and it has drastically changed! Before it was much less developed and not as many people but now it seems more like a party spot and not as “secret” as it felt to us before. -Because of sargassum and development, there’s different parts of the island that have a horrible smell and unfortunately this property is on that side. It’s doable but be prepared!

My stay at this Airbnb was amazing! From start to finish, everything was smooth and accommodating. The home was beautiful and had all the bells and whistles you could ask for. Any time we had a question or needed assistance, the hosts responded immediately and took care of everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. M&B Luxury Rentals did not disappoint. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the home and the amenities that were available for use during our stay. The concierge arranged transportation for our group from the ferry terminal which helped a lot since we couldn’t do it alone on the golf carts. They were also very responsive to our needs.

While the accommodations themselves were very nice, our overall experience left us feeling that this property was not the best value for the money. One of the biggest drawbacks was the cost of the on-site amenities. The restaurants, shuttle services & other offerings were significantly more expensive than what we found elsewhere on San Pedro Island. Many of the services felt marked up compared to finding a vendor directly. We were also disappointed with the concierge . Communication was often difficult & arranging services was more complicated than it should have been. When booking a golf cart rental, we found the process confusing & lacked transparency. Payments appeared to be routed under multiple different businesses, making it unclear who was actually providing the service & what was paid for. After doing more research, we learned that the price we paid was high.

I truly enjoyed staying here. It felts like a home away from home. The location is peaceful, the house was very clean, and the staff was accommodating. I would stay again. Please note that one of the bedrooms does not have a tv and the jack and Jill bathroom does not has a mirror. Overall, 9/10 stay!!

overall, my stay at Mahogany Bay closer to heaven was good. Check-in was smooth. The property was big, beautiful and peaceful. I and my friends had our own rooms that were spacious a huge living room and a huge kitchen. We were close to majority of the places that we wanted to go to, which was helpful. I will rate the property in eight out of 10. We did have an issue with dirty sheets as they were stained and I believe it was the housekeeping lady, that was about to come into our Airbnb while we were still there before checkout, though I told them we would be checking out around 10 she came around nine. If I didn’t walk out of my room I wouldn’t have seen her Other than that, I would recommend mahogany Bay villas as it was very convenient overall a nice experience and at a very reasonable price versus a hotel

very nice place and more than enough room for my family. they even brought us a pack and play for my baby. anything we needed they answered and we received within 20 mins. staff was extremely friendly and helpful. would def stay again when coming to San Pedro
