Perched on a hillside, Sunsational offers breathtaking 180-degree ocean views. This architecturally designed home was built in 2022–2023 and comfortably accommodates up to six adults and four children.

The 2,400-square-foot, two-story wooden house features:

The Space

Sunsational was designed to maximize the incredible ocean views while creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.

The expansive west-facing deck includes outdoor cooking, dining, lounging, and an infinity plunge pool. Overlooking the sea, it provides an exceptional setting for enjoying Caribbean sunsets.

The home is ideally located midway between West Bay and West End, within a short walk of the white sands of Butchers Bank and Turtle Beach. The activities, restaurants, and nightlife of both tourist areas are easily accessible. However, with everything Sunsational offers, you may find yourself enjoying the home instead.

The House

Sunsational is a 2,400-square-foot, two-story wooden house that was architecturally designed and built in 2022–2023.

Entry

The main entrance is at street level and features a covered portico, solid wood door, and stainless-steel keyless digital lock.

The entry foyer opens into the great room, which includes the kitchen, dining area, and living room. A wall of glass provides views of the deck, infinity pool, and ocean.

Great Room

The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living areas are integrated to encourage easy movement, conversation, and interaction.

Kitchen

The kitchen features quartzite countertops, a glass-tile backsplash, and custom cabinetry made from Honduran native hardwoods. The island includes below-counter storage and four bar stools for casual dining.

• Six-burner gas cooktop
• Full-size gas oven
• Full-size stainless-steel Whirlpool refrigerator and freezer
• Microwave
• Full-size dishwasher

A large pantry, multiple cupboards, and numerous drawers provide ample storage.

A pass-through bar window connects the kitchen with the outdoor grill area, creating an integrated indoor-outdoor cooking space.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for cooking and dining at home. A large window above the sink provides full ocean views, making even washing dishes more enjoyable.

Dining

The dining area includes a large table with six chairs for family meals or entertaining. Positioned in front of glass sliding doors leading to the deck, it offers ocean views during every meal.

Lounge Area

A large teal-blue sectional sofa adds a comfortable splash of color. Relax with a movie on the wall-mounted flat-screen television or settle in with a book.

Games Area

This cozy nook beside the living room includes a large chest that provides both storage and a surface for games and toys. Children can enjoy their own space while remaining connected to the rest of the family.

Utility Room and Half Bathroom

Adjacent to the great room are a half bathroom, with a second door leading to the deck, and a separate utility room with a full-size washer and dryer.

The Deck

The deck is the centerpiece of the home. Accessible from the great room, it provides a spacious outdoor living area suspended above the hillside.

Its elevated position offers:

The deck is divided into three areas:

• A stunning infinity plunge pool at the center
• An outdoor dining area with a gas barbecue, black-stone grill, and air fryer

The outdoor dining set seats six adults comfortably. An outdoor shower and direct access to the half bathroom are also available.

The deck’s west-facing orientation provides afternoon sun over the pool and exceptional sunset views.

The Flower Room is a spacious ground-floor bedroom with:

The en suite bathroom includes quartz countertops and a large shower finished with 2-by-4-foot porcelain heat-absorbing tiles.

Flip Flop Room

Upper-Floor Bedroom

The upper-floor bedrooms are reached by a staircase from the main living area and connected by a mezzanine-style catwalk overlooking the living room.

The Flip Flop Room includes:

• Single-bed trundle beneath the king bed
• Built-in closets with custom Honduran hardwood cabinetry

The trundle bed can be pulled out as needed and is suitable for a young child sleeping beside a parent.

Sea Turtle Room

Upper-Floor Bedroom

The Sea Turtle Room is the largest of the three bedrooms. It includes:

The trundle bed can be pulled out as needed and is suitable for a young child sleeping beside a parent.
