Casa Blanca offers panoramic ocean views in a remarkably convenient location, just 5–7 minutes from Dominical and Uvita. Unlike many Escaleras homes with ocean views, it does not require a long, rough drive into the mountains.

Enjoy cotton-candy sunsets, warm ocean breezes from the Juliette balcony, visiting monkeys, macaws, toucans, and Blue Morphos, as well as marble-and-cedar finishes, open-air bathrooms, and a private trail leading to your own waterfall.

Guests often spend their time moving between the infinity pool, waterfall trail, and panoramic loft—and rarely feel the need to leave the property.

The House

A bamboo roof and cedar interiors create a warm, elevated jungle atmosphere. Three open-air bathrooms blend naturally into the surrounding greenery.

Upstairs, the Juliette balcony frames a cinematic panorama of the Pacific. Behind the home, a private trail leads to a secluded waterfall with a natural plunge pool.

The home sleeps 7–8 guests comfortably. All bedrooms and the loft have air conditioning.

Infinity Pool Patio

The resort-style infinity pool opens directly toward the Pacific, with unobstructed views of the Whale’s Tail and Caño Island. From the water, it feels as though you are floating above the coastline.

Two resident toucans often perch in the guarumo tree beside the pool, creating a memorable afternoon ritual for guests.

Jungle Deck and Wildlife

The wraparound jungle deck immerses you in the surrounding canopy.

Wildlife commonly seen around the property includes:

• Three species of toucans and scarlet macaws

Guest Access and Location

Casa Blanca is located in San Martín Sur, 7 minutes south of Dominical and 10 minutes north of Uvita, providing convenient access to both towns.

The house is only a 2–3-minute drive from the highway, making access easier than at many nearby vacation rentals that require driving high into the hills.

The turnoff up San Martín Sur includes an incline and is mostly unpaved, so a four-wheel-drive vehicle is required.

Arrival Routes

1. Take a 25-minute Sansa flight from San José to Quepos, followed by a 45-minute drive.
2. Take the 3.25-hour coastal scenic drive from San José, with multiple ocean-view stops along the way.

After booking, we will share a Google Maps pin and simple step-by-step directions to make arrival easy, even at night.
