At Castillo de la Riviera, we speak French (Qc), Spanish, and English. We live on-site and like things quiet, clean, and comfortable -for us and for you! Expect a genuine welcome and good company: watch monkeys pass through, relax in a hammock, or get some work done from one of our outdoor spots.
Getting here We're on the main road between Hotel Plinio and Hotel Mono Azul, about 1 km up the hill from Quepos toward Manuel Antonio Park and Beach, on the right (west) side. Just search "Castillo de la Riviera" on any GPS.
Public buses run every 15-20 minutes and cost under a dollar - safe, easy! Quepos' weekend farmers market is about a 15-minute walk away (Friday PM & Sat Mornings)
On-site Our new café and concept store, Luna Llena Collective, serves breakfast, lunch, smoothies, and coffee, alongside a curated selection of books, art, clothing, and souvenirs — with free WiFi and AC. We also have a glass-blowing art studio on-site; ask us for details.

Good location and easy to find. The space is more for families than for 2 couples, as there is no privacy. The bathroom has no privacy. It’s open at the top and even reaches the kitchen-living room. To get to the last room, you have to go through the first room. Maintenance was needed (blinds, windows, curtains, etc.). All this, and communication has been fast and efficient.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. It's very beautiful and run by a Quebecer, which is good because he speaks French. Everything was there for cooking, and it was clean and functional. The view was beautiful and the pool was very good. The person on site was very nice, and the owners' pets are very calm and affectionate!

A very nice stay. All amenities were there, the premises are clean, and the courtyard with the pool is magnificent! However, we found the place a little too noisy due to the proximity to the road and the noise from cars. It took away the charm of the birdsong! I would still recommend it without hesitation.

The place is just perfect, you have everything you need, is near the beaches, clean, pretty apartment. The host was very responsive and flexible, let us stay in common area after the check out to enjoy the pool.

I really enjoyed my stay! The apartment was spacious enough for myself and my parents. The location was a 5-10 minute drive from most of the restaurants and activities we planned. We were also within pickup range for most excursions. Julie was a great host and always responsive! We got to meet her in person and she was always very friendly 😊

A beautiful place. They definitely thought of every detail. The kitchen had absolutely everything and even more. The beds were comfortable, and there were beautiful views of nature from the rooms. Completely in love with the place.
