The Space
Casa Wendt is a beautiful Mexican villa located in the gated community of La Jolla in San José del Cabo. Enjoy views of Baja and the sound of rolling surf from every room in this spacious vacation rental.

Upstairs
The first master suite includes:
- A comfortable king-size bed
- A private bathroom
- A private outdoor terrace
- Dining space for four
- A barbecue grill
The upper level also features a fully equipped kitchen with modern stainless-steel appliances and a Mexican-style breakfast bar with seating for three. The dining area and living room are located adjacent to the kitchen.
Downstairs
The second bedroom offers flexible sleeping arrangements with either two single beds or one king-size bed. It includes:
- An open terrace
- A private bathroom
- Direct access to the pool
The third bedroom has two full-size beds and comfortably accommodates two to four guests. It is just steps from the pool and open terrace. A half bathroom is located between the second and third bedrooms.
The second master suite is a hacienda-style extension of the home with its own private entrance. This suite includes:
- A comfortable king-size bed
- A private full bathroom
- Private access to the pool
Amenities
All bedrooms include large flat-screen televisions with internet streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube. New air-conditioning units have been installed.
The pool area offers:
- Outdoor lounge chairs

- An outdoor bar for preparing margaritas and piña coladas
- A full-size refrigerator
- A Weber Genesis barbecue for outdoor dining
- A heated pool maintained at 80°F

House was beautiful. We felt very safe there. It felt like home. The pool was a positive. Had everything we needed…Sunscreen, towels, pickleball, swim toys, snorkel gear, and all the kitchen equipment needed. Steve was helpful with ideas of things to do and responsive with questions or help in the house. As everywhere in Mexico, you have ants, we didn’t have them inside, but they were out at the pool and they didn’t bug us, the first night we didn’t clean the counters and got little bugs but then we realized we have to keep food sealed or in the fridge and wipe down the counters at night and didn’t have a problem again, due to construction we had to plan our day depending on what direction we were going and what time we left and came back. We would come back to this house and rent from Steve again. For our party of 7 it was perfect!

Steve was a great host for our time at Casa Wendt. We loved the home and felt like we were at our own. Comfortable amenities and everything we needed. Our children loved the pool area and swam multiple times a day. We can’t wait to come back

We loved the place, a very good location and super safe, we loved the warm pool because it was a bit breezy, the rooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was super equipped and had everything we needed and the best thing was that there was plenty of space for my little dogs. We loved the house! And Steve the host, excellent communication!! Always attentive to what is needed! I hope to return next year,

Amazing stay! Such a wonderful, quiet and safe neighborhood. The kids loved the pool, playground and pickle ball courts nearby. Steve was a fantastic and very helpful host. We will be back!!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Steve’s place. I would highly recommend it to any group (we were a party of 5) looking for a lovely, spacious home in the perfect location. 10/10. Will definitely book again!

The Host was super helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was perfect! The community felt safe and secure - nothing to worry on our lovely vacation. We would gladly stay here again, it was well worth it!

Steve's house is in the perfect location for a great vacation. Close to shopping - the beach - the central square of San Jose Del Cabo. Steve went out of his way to help us get set up and made several great suggestions on what to do while visiting. All in all a great time...
