Additional Information
Punta Marenco serves as the gateway to Corcovado National Park, one of the most significant natural reserves in Mesoamerica. The park is a sanctuary for wildlife such as jaguars, giant anteaters, tapirs, white-lipped peccaries, sloths, and many other rare rainforest species.
The area features a high plateau forest with trees reaching over 140 feet tall, supporting hundreds of species of ferns, bromeliads, and orchids. This diverse environment, combined with palm swamps and mangroves, makes Corcovado a paradise for botanists.

This place is to die for! We loved being so immersed in nature. The rooms don’t have walls or windows but are entirely screened in to keep the bugs out and let the breeze flow through. There is a ceiling fan to move some air while you sleep, but no a/c and this fan and breeze was plenty for us to be cool at night. During the day, you’ll probably be exploring the nearby beaches or going on a jungle hike anyways. We got to see a Macaw fly by and a number of other birds. We hiked an hour along the beach through the jungle and saw the cutest capuchin white-faced monkeys playing and totally private beaches until we arrived an hour later to a freshwater river that was so cool, beautiful and refreshing. We will remember this forever...can’t wait to come back!!! Book this, you won’t regret!!!

The place is beautiful with incredible views. It seems important to me that tourists know that the main access of the Hotel is by sea, having to take a boat every time you want to move the center ( which is 20"away, being able to arrive by 4x4 car * necessarily ) It is also important to note that the Hotel is within a reservation then the bungalows do not have outlets and access to wifi is extremely limited. Otherwise, the place is a paradise.
