Overview
Casa Amor is a one-and-a-half-minute walk from the beach and even closer to restaurants, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. The home features high ceilings, abundant natural light, a spacious outdoor patio with a pool, and excellent airflow.
It is well suited to couples, families with children, and medium-sized groups. During 2020, we used our downtime to renovate the bedrooms and bathrooms. Additional photos and a video are available on the casaamormexico.com website.
The Space
The bedrooms feature lofted ceilings, comfortable beds, brand-new air-conditioning units, and Hampton Bay fans. During the winter months, the weather is especially pleasant, and you can often sleep comfortably with natural airflow beneath the handwoven Mexican bedspreads and blankets.
The open, airy kitchen includes almost everything you may need. However, San Pancho’s restaurants are so good that you may not use the kitchen at all.
The large, comfortable couch is ideal for relaxing with an afternoon book, while the palapa and hammock in the backyard are perfect for an afternoon siesta.
Guest Access
Guests are welcome to use all areas of the house, including the pool and palapa, except for the storage and laundry areas.
A washer and dryer are available on-site. Our housekeeper, who comes to clean two days a week and on the day of arrival, would be happy to do laundry for you.
House Rules and Important Information
A signed contract is required when booking directly through our website. By booking through Airbnb, you agree to the following rules:
- Check-in is at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. Special arrangements may be possible when necessary.
- The maximum occupancy is eleven people.
- Tents and other structures may not be set up on the property.
- Recreational vehicles and other vehicles longer than 5.5 meters may not be parked in the parking area.
- Please respect the neighborhood. Loud parties or other noise that disturbs nearby residents are not permitted after 10:30 p.m. or before 9:00 a.m.
- Pets are not allowed. Due to allergies, please do not allow friendly local animals or other community pets inside the home.
- Casa Amor is strictly non-smoking indoors. If you smoke, please use the outdoor patio and clean up all ash and cigarette waste.
- Please notify us if anything is broken so it can be replaced for the next guests.
The homeowners understand that accidental breakage or loss occasionally occurs and are tolerant of such incidents. However, guests and their parties may not deliberately remove, destroy, or damage the house, its contents, or its surroundings. Guests agree to reimburse the homeowners for any such damage.
Risk Acknowledgment and Liability Waiver
I, the renter, recognize that vacationing in a beach town in Mexico is inherently different from living or vacationing in the United States or Canada and involves additional risks of injury or death. These risks may include:
- Swimming pools without fences or lifeguards
- Beaches without lifeguards
- Bars that serve liquor to anyone who orders, regardless of age
- Balconies, windows, and stairways without fall-protection devices
- A lack of smooth roads and sidewalks
- The possibility of vacationers overindulging and becoming careless
- Different construction codes, laws, safety standards, activities, and traditions
- Many other conditions
I, the renter, acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for all damages to myself and every member of my party, including anyone who accompanies, visits, or is otherwise associated with me or any member of my party. I expressly release the owners of Casa Amor, all individual owners and landlords, and all other renters or occupants of the house from liability for any damage to me or any member of my party, regardless of the cause.
I further agree to hold harmless the owners of Casa Amor, all individual owners and landlords, and the owners’ agents from any and all claims arising from my rental of the house or property. During the term of my rental agreement, I accept full legal responsibility for all damages to myself, all members of my party, and all guests of myself or members of my party.
I understand that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. If any portion is held invalid, the remainder of the waiver will remain in full legal force and effect. I further agree that the venue for any legal proceedings shall be the State of Nayarit, Mexico, and no other venue.
I affirm that I am of legal age and am freely signing this agreement. I have read this form and the rules of occupancy and fully understand that, by signing, I am giving up legal rights or remedies that may be available to me for the negligence of the owners of Casa Amor, landlords, or other agents or parties listed above.

Please remember that the entry code will be activated on the day of arrival and deactivated on the day of departure.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience in San Pancho. The place was absolutely perfect for the 8 of us that stayed. The kids were delighted with the pool after long mornings of playing in the powerful surf. Our girls sat in the hammock every morning and visited with the neighborhood feline guests. The temperatrue of the open air home was easily contorolled with ceiling fans though we appreciated the mini-splits as a back-up. The local community was warm and welcoming. Above all Chris was immensely supportive from afar as we navigated some tricky travel issues! Thank you Chris we hope one day to return!

Ideal location, host was quick to respond, house was well stocked and clean. Loved the iPad with information. Great attention to all details. House was cleaned while we were there, pool cleaned and gardener also came. Location was ideal for walking to the beach or to town. We were 3 generations and house was ideal for all 9 of us.

A wonderful family holiday for 14 days. The Casa Amor places you in perfect location to walk to the beach (3 minutes), central plaza (across the street) or great restaurants and shops (all around you). House is well equipped and the layout easily handled 8 adults, 2 toddlers and 8 month old. Chris and the staff are responsive and on top of all needs. Highly recommend if you want to want to immerse yourself in the awesome town of San Pancho

Casa Amor is in a perfect location for families or a large group. It is close to the beach and shopping areas and right across from the plaza where on Tuesdays there is a delightful market. We had 3 small children, under the age of 4, and the pool was perfect for them. It has a small “ledge” that they walked on and were very safe, with supervision. The garden area was well maintained and lovely for evenings. The Casa, itself was super clean and for the most part, well stocked. If we had any questions, Chris was prompt and super helpful. Information is provided ahead of time. The four bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Chris also helped with transportation to the airport. We were all sad to leave!

Casa Amor was perfect for our family. Everyone with their own bedroom/bathroom, kitchen and living area central to all and an incredible outdoor area with our private pool. Everywhere we needed to go we could easily walk and the town of San Pancho itself was a blast to explore and enjoy.

Best vacation rental experience our family has ever had! The location and comfort of this home was fabulous. Chris was wonderful, helpful and gracious as he assisted us TWICE with errors that we made during our four day stay. There is an easy-to-use IPAD with instructions about the house and helpful information for our stay. The beach was two easy blocks and there were so many interesting restaurants and shops all around us. I wouldn't look further if you are planning to visit San Francisco/San Pancho!! Just reserve this great house, you will be glad you did!!!

Location can't be beat. We rented a car but didn't use it at all because everything you need is walking distance. We especially loved the backyard, pool and palapa. Would 100% stay at Chris's place again.

Chris is a fantastic host. We felt well-prepared with good directions and recommendations for when we arrived. He was easy to communicate with and very responsive during our stay. Casa Amor is a comfortable and charming home with the feel of a true Mexican casa with key modern upgrades. We travelled as a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 children including a toddler). The four bedrooms and four bathrooms were as advertised and provided a comfortable stay for our large party. The kitchen was fully stocked. The property really shines when you step out into the back patio, pool, and palapa area which really increases the overall living space. The location is possibly the best aspect of the house, within a very short walk to the main section of town and the beach. Casa Amor is highly recommended for groups of 6 or more for your stay in San Pancho.
