The Space
This lovely colonial-style home is located in the historic center, about a 10-minute walk from the central plaza. The rooftop terrace offers beautiful sunset views and views of the parroquia.

The professionally landscaped outdoor areas include a shaded rooftop terrace and a covered downstairs patio with a lovely fountain.
The house is situated on a quiet street with only a few homes and minimal traffic. It is far enough from the Jardin and parroquia to reduce noise, yet close enough to reach them easily by walking through picturesque streets. The Instituto de Allende and the Jardin are approximately a 5–10-minute walk away.
Parking
One enclosed, private parking space is available for a compact car. The space has a remote-controlled gate and measures approximately 181 inches deep, or 15 feet deep, with dimensions of 3.1 meters wide by 4.6 meters deep.
For larger vehicles, a secure parking lot is located two blocks away on Pila Seca.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire house. Personal belongings are stored in one closet, leaving ample space for guests’ items.
The kitchen is well equipped with new appliances, making it convenient and enjoyable to prepare your own meals.
Housekeeping and Laundry
Weekday maid service, including laundry services, is provided. Our housekeeper has worked with us for nine years and is terrific.
- Bed linens are changed weekly or at the end of your stay.
- Towels are changed twice weekly.

The house has a strict no-smoking policy.
Children are welcome with active parental supervision.

My wife and I spent two weeks in Sandra's house, and hosted several other guests during this time. We have traveled to San Miguel many times over a period of many years. This house was perfect, well located on a very quiet street with minimal traffic yet a five minute walk to the center. Beautifully furnished with every amenity for a comfortable stay. The housekeeper who comes most days was very sensitive to our privacy and kept the house in pristine shape throughout our stay. Beautiful patio and rooftop seating. Highly recommended!

Sandra's place is beautiful but we had a few snags in our stay that's worth highlighting for new folks: • We didn't have internet upon arrival and lost a full working day. We arrived on Thursday evening and had a full remote work day Friday so that unfortunately was a huge inconvenience that colored the start of our trip. We were told that the internet guys would fix it first thing in the morning (they knew about this the evening prior) but that didn't happen until well into the afternoon at which point we were approaching the end of the day. • The house was unfortunately incredibly hot. The AC unit is only in the master bedroom, and even that wasn't very strong. We had a roommate decide to get a hotel because the bedroom was so hot even with the fan and the open windows. Overall though house was beautiful and location was great, just not a place we'd stay at again because of the above issues. If that's not a dealbreaker for you, it's an awesome place.

Great place and very walkable to San Miguel historic spots. We loved the character of the place. Kitchen was fully stocked and it was nice having Regina there and Miguel to help us make our stay even better. We’d definitely come back

The house was beautifully decorated and maintained. Our family felt very comfortable there and enjoyed the outdoor patio and rooftop seating as well. Very comfortable - and Regina was lovely as well.

Beautiful home in a quiet private street in San Miguel de Allende. Short walk to the town center, shops, and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen for those that like to cook. Highly recommend staying at Sandra’s place, we loved it.

Our home base for Día de los Muertos 2025 weekend was Sandra's Casa Pila Seca...the property was absolutely perfect for our family! Such a beautiful house with fabulous amenities (including amazing roof terrace and ground floor garden) and a perfect location...easy walk to all neighborhoods, heritage sites, restaurants, (and bars :) !), etc. My wife (who happens to be a Sandra as well!) and I were thoroughly delighted and highly recommend Casa Pila Seca for anyone interested in exploring the wonders of SMdA.

Casa Jaguar was stunning! Such a Gem, with attention to detail everywhere, its quiet, extremely clean, serene and truly captures San Miguel’s beauty, and is walking distance to everything. Sandra’s communication is time effective and her staff is very sweet and trustworthy! We definitely give Casa Jaguar a 20 out of 10 stars!

The home is lovely, beautifully decorated and maintained, spacious, and well equipped. The rooftop was comfortable, and a perfect place for enjoying mornings and evenings. The back patio was another wonderful outdoor space. It was very easy to enjoy our time both in the home, and also easy to walk to the town center, restaurants, parks, shopping, etc. I would book it again in a heartbeat. We always felt safe, and could easily contact local staff if we needed anything. Our party was three people, but the home is large enough to easily house 3 couples. We all thoroughly enjoyed the City of San Miguel de Allende and our stay at Pila Seca. Everything was clean, people were friendly, and restaurants were exceptional.
