Location
Casa de la Playa is situated along white sand beaches on the coast of the Sea of Cortez, known for one of the planet’s most diverse fish populations. The beach in front of the home offers miles of beautiful, secluded shoreline perfect for walking.
For marine life enthusiasts, a short drive leads to the National Marine Park at Cabo Pulmo, home to the only living coral reef in Baja California, where you can dive with tropical fish and sea lions. Alternatively, visit La Paz to snorkel with whale sharks, the largest fish in the world. Guests may also have the chance to participate in a local baby turtle release.

Excelente casa, ubicación y atención del servicio/staff de casa, los cuartos están en diferentes espacios no topas con los demás, el espacio común y la terraza increíbles para convivir, esperemos volver pronto! Gracias!

The house itself is lovely and It’s proximity to the beach and ocean makes the location very special. Other reviews indicate not seeing other people due to its remoteness however there was quite a bit of construction, movement and signs of development while we were there. It is still miles from a town so meals, transportation and outings should be planned for and considered prior to booking. Though the house itself is nice we had a number of issues during our stay including a broken AC, lack of hot water and most importantly a very unsettling privacy violation by an on-site employee. The property owner was quick to reach out and act, reportedly firing the employee and refunding our stay, however we are still working on further resolving the issue with Airbnb for peace of mind. We are basing our review on the property itself in an attempt to not punish the property owner for the criminal acts of their employee, but our overall experience was unsettling and we couldn't omit that here.

The house is great. It is SECLUDED! We didn’t see another person on the beach the whole trip, 6 days. Maid cleans bathrooms and washes towels but does not clean main living areas, take out trash or help in the kitchen. The road to the house is pretty sketchy, it’s not dirt but sand. In certain sections you could get stuck in a car or front wheel only suv. Confident driving is a must. The house had electrical surges while I stayed. They have a backup generator but the surges made it so the hot tub stopped working (total bummer because the kids wanted to use it after swimming) and the oven stopped working (also total bummer for frozen pizzas and east food for kids). The AC is great. The courtyard is great and has ping pong (kids loved it) and the beds are super comfy. Overall an amazing house and awesome trip. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Casa La Playa did not disappoint! It was a wonderful upscale beach getaway. Very very remote but it was perfect for our group. The concierge helped us hire a chef and driver who were absolutely fabulous! I would definitely stay there again!!

I cannot say enough about how amazing our stay was at this villa. The property itself is breathtaking; when our group walked in, we were speechless. The expansive views, hot tub and soaking pool, roof deck, and stretch of coastline we had all to ourselves was more than we were hoping for - it exceeded our expectations, which were already high based on the photos. We spent every night on the roof deck looking up at a blanket of stars. Patty, our on-site property manager, made sure we had everything we needed, and expertly helped us through an unexpected power outage that occurred on the peninsula the first night of our stay. I would highly recommend Veronica, Patty, and the Elite Destination Homes team. Their communication was excellent and this property is gorgeous. Thank you!
