The Space

Welcome to Finca Los Mangos, a cozy eco-friendly wooden cabin nestled in the lush hills of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Named after the large mango tree that shades the property, this tranquil retreat combines comfort, sustainability, and authentic local character, all just minutes from the beach and national park.

The cabin is thoughtfully constructed with natural, ecological materials to allow tropical light and fresh air to flow freely. It accommodates up to 5 guests across two levels:

Main Level:

• Open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and a comfortable seating area with a TV
• Bedroom featuring a double bed and its own air conditioning unit for cool nights
• Bathroom with a hot shower and washing machine
• Powerful air conditioning serving both the ground floor and upper level

Mezzanine Loft:

• Accessible via stairs rebuilt in 2021
• Contains two queen beds in an open, airy layout overlooking the main living area
• Perfect for families or groups of friends traveling together

Shared Outdoor Space

Step outside to enjoy the refreshing pool, shared with one other cabin on the property. The pool operates with a solar-powered pump, emphasizing eco-conscious living. The fenced and gated grounds provide secure parking, tropical greenery, and the soothing sounds of nature alongside the lively ambiance of a local neighborhood.

Mornings are ideal for sipping coffee under the mango tree while spotting colorful birds. Occasionally, monkeys may visit the garden, adding to the natural charm.

Location

Finca Los Mangos is situated in a local neighborhood within the hills of Manuel Antonio, offering a peaceful and authentic environment close to key attractions:

• A 10-minute drive to Manuel Antonio Beach, National Park, and Quepos
• Bus stop only 250 meters away, with local buses to the beach and Quepos (including buses from San José)
• Short walking distance to restaurants and shops on Manuel Antonio’s main road
• A small supermarket and the popular El Cerdo Feliz Restaurant are just 50 meters away

The neighborhood is home to friendly locals and several other Airbnb rentals. As with many Costa Rican communities, you may hear daily life sounds such as conversations, music, dogs, and passing cars, all contributing to the vibrant local atmosphere.

A Note on Nature

Being close to the rainforest means you may see or hear monkeys, iguanas, and tropical birds. This connection to Costa Rica’s remarkable wildlife is one of the special aspects of staying at Finca Los Mangos.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the duplex with mezzanine/loft, including one bedroom, one full bathroom, and a kitchen. The garden and parking area (space for one car on the property) are shared with other guests.

Other Things to Note

• Mini the cat lives in the garden but does not enter the cabins.
• The pool, parking, and garden are shared with other guests; please be considerate.
• Parking is limited to one car per house on the property. Street parking is available at your own risk.
• There is no luggage drop-off or storage before or after your stay due to lack of separate space.
• When booking, please provide the accurate number of guests. Pricing varies based on guest count, and the apartment will be prepared accordingly.

Additional Option

For larger groups, both cabins on the property can be rented together to accommodate up to 10 guests.
