Property Overview

House U-1 was designed by the owner as part of a property with two houses, a shared jungle-like backyard, and a pool between them. This listing is for the two-bedroom house. The house is located 200 meters from the beach in Hacienda Iguana, providing access to a nine-hole golf course and local surf breaks.

For monthly stays, guests are responsible for the electricity bill.

The Space

This uniquely designed two-bedroom house can be booked separately and accommodates up to five guests.

• The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite shower.
• The second bedroom has its own bathroom, a queen-size bed, and a twin bed, accommodating up to three guests.
• The kitchen includes:

  • Microwave
  • Blender
  • Drip coffee maker
  • Toaster
  • Variety of pots and pans
  • Other kitchen utensils
• The kitchen is also stocked with:
  • Large five-gallon bottles of drinking water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Vegetable oil
  • Coffee filters

Guest Access

Guests have access to all areas of the house they rent, as well as the shared backyard and pool.

The laundry room is not available for guest use. However, our maid would be happy to do your laundry so you can focus on enjoying your holiday.

Additional Information

Hacienda Iguana is a growing community, and construction is taking place in the area. There are currently no houses being built next door. If this is a concern, please contact us before booking for the most up-to-date information about nearby construction.

The house is situated on a triangular lot with roads on two sides. This should have minimal impact, as the backyard and pool are enclosed by a green privacy wall that continues to grow.

There are two houses on the property. If you book only one house, please be aware that other guests may stay in the second house and share the pool area.

Electricity and Backup Generator

Power outages can occur in Nicaragua. The house has a backup generator that starts automatically when the power goes out and runs on gas.

The generator powers the appliances, lights, and fans, but it does not power the air-conditioning units. A power outage may also affect water pressure and the hot-water heater.

The generator is intended to make your stay as comfortable as possible during an outage. Please be patient, as power is restored as soon as possible.

Pets

Pets are welcome. A $30 pet-cleaning fee applies.

Beach and Pool Towels

Beach towels are provided for use around the pool and at the beach. They are the colored towels.

Please confirm that you have the correct number of towels for your group when you arrive and take care not to lose them. A $25 fee will be charged for each towel missing at departure.
