Dantica 4-Person Superior Bungalow

The Space

Our bungalow is located in the valley of San Gerardo de Dota, nestled within the Los Santos Forest Reserve. Positioned atop a hill, it offers stunning views of the surrounding forest and a private reserve featuring 5 kilometers of walking trails. The bungalow is also near the recently established Los Quetzales National Park. The distance from the bungalow to the restaurant is approximately 35 meters.

The bungalow includes the following amenities:

• Queen-sized beds with goose-feather duvets
• Air conditioner with inverter heating system
• Satellite television
• Ecological ethanol-burning chimney
• Safe deposit box
• Minibar with refrigerator
• Table with chairs
• Private terrace

The bathroom is equipped with:

• Shower
• Towels
• Biodegradable soaps and shampoos
• Hairdryer

All hot water is heated using solar energy.

This room accommodates up to 4 guests. It is possible to add 2 extra single beds at an additional cost of $50 plus taxes, including breakfast. Children under 10 years old can have an extra bed free of charge, with breakfast included.

Location

The bungalow is situated within a pristine forest environment, surrounded by national parks and inside a forest reserve. It is about a one-hour drive from the nearest village, offering a secluded and peaceful setting.

Dantica Cloud Forest Lodge is dedicated to sustainable tourism in Costa Rica. We actively participate in the Certification for Sustainable Tourism (CST) program managed by the Costa Rica Tourism Board (ICT) and strive to meet all CST standards.

Our lodge is a genuine eco-lodge, not only because of our environmental protection efforts and community involvement but also due to its location in an untouched forest area.

Gallery and Handicrafts

The lodge features a beautiful gallery with three spacious rooms showcasing indigenous art and handicrafts. Many of the products are unique in Costa Rica, sourced from across Latin America, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela.

The collection highlights the cultural diversity of the continent in one space, offering items such as:

• Furniture
• Ceramics
• Hammocks
• Wooden benches
• Bags

These products are crafted using pre-Columbian techniques or contemporary methods and remain in use within indigenous and rural communities. Additionally, some items are designed exclusively by us, ensuring you will find them nowhere else.
