We had a wonderful stay here in Tamarindo! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach & close to many restaurants. The space was clean, comfortable & exactly as described. Communication was easy & responsive throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo, whether for vacation or work. I’d happily stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect — very close to the beach and just a quick walk to town. The only downside was that the WiFi wasn’t good, which was a bit tough since my boyfriend relies on it for his phone. Other than that, everything was great and we would definitely recommend staying here.

The outdoor sitting area is now next to a large cage of birds and a swampy koi pond. The initial photos had a large wood table under a shady place. Also it was unclear that the pool is in a hotel a few homes down the alley. The lock to the yard was very difficult to manage as it was behind plastic privacy brush and my boyfriend couldn’t get his hands through the wire gate to open. It was in a good location and close to the beach which was nice. We ended up staying only 1 night as I was looking forward to some clean outdoor space that don’t involve animals or gardeners outside the room at 0600.

Extraordinary beach nearby. Walking distance from downtown. Great for a person or couple. Slightly difficult to find in the evening, but the host has already added a solar light and an easy-to-spot sign. I will happily go back!

The place is nice, quiet and in a great location, steps from the beach. The space was clean and tidy, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The place really does NOT have parking, the car is left outside the airbnb, on a public street. However, it is a quiet street, with little traffic. I chose this place mainly because it is steps from the beach and wifi/space to work. But I didn't have more than 5 minutes of Internet connection, when I managed to connect. The available networks were extremely unstable. The afternoon I had to make a delivery from the university, and the full day I had to work, I had to use my phone as a hotspot. I would like to highlight and thank the hosts for being very friendly and attentive, with a quick response at all times, trying to resolve issues even if they were not finally resolved. Despite this, it was a very pleasant stay.

In our stay there were three aspects that we did not like: 1. The listing indicates that the Airbnb has parking on the property; however, they do not really have private parking, but rather it must be left on public roads. This was complicated, especially the first night, as there was nowhere to park. In addition, the access is up a small hill that my vehicle (4x2) could not overcome, so we had to leave the car in the middle of the street that first night. In the following days, we managed to accommodate him in the parking lot of the Airbnb partner hotel. 2. Most electrical appliances did not work. 3. The apartment was quite dirty, especially the bathroom and sink. Even so, all the problems were solved during the stay. The location is spectacular, very close to the beach, with access to the pool thanks to the agreement with the hotel and with everything you need at hand. This place has a lot of potential, especially given its great location—just steps from the beach on a quiet, safe street. The interior of the house is nicely designed and comfortable, though the kitchen was only equipped with a couple of pots that worked with the induction stove. However, there were several issues that made the experience disappointing. The listing photos, particularly of the entrance and patio area, didn’t match the reality. Instead of the inviting space shown online—with a large pergola and open area—we found a large bird cage, a fish pond, leftover construction materials, and a shed used for storage, all of which made the entrance feel cluttered and uninviting. Privacy was also a concern, as people frequently walked through the patio area without any prior notice, making it feel more like a shared or storage space than a private beach retreat. Check-in was not smooth. Many things could have been better had the communication been better.
