Sugarcane Route

The Space

Enjoy a 38,000-square-meter ecological center located 20 kilometers from Medellín. The property is suitable for events, lodging, meetings, business celebrations, family gatherings, and spiritual retreats.

The estate features:

• Landscaped grounds with guadua bamboo, trees, gardens, and pastures
• A stream running through the property
• A natural lake inhabited by various species of birds and fish

• Llamas, alpacas, and horses
• A swimming pool
• A jacuzzi
• Parking for up to 40 vehicles
• An event center for up to 70 people

The property combines rustic charm with comfortable amenities and is located in an area known for having one of the best climates in the city.

Cabin

The 420-square-meter cabin accommodates up to 20 guests and features a handcrafted thatched roof built using traditional techniques and organic materials. Inspired by Colombian Indigenous culture, the cabin includes:

• An open-plan kitchen and living area
• A television room
• Five spacious bedrooms, four with en-suite bathrooms
• One guest bathroom
• A mezzanine with its own bathroom
• A deck extending from the house over the lake

The cabin has 22 beds:

• One king-size bed
• Four double beds
• Seventeen single beds

Pillows, sheets, blankets, and comforters are provided. Guests must bring their own towels.

Event Center

The event center accommodates up to 70 people and includes:

• A handcrafted clay wood-burning stove
• A barbecue
• Rustic surroundings inspired by Colombian Indigenous culture

For events, the maximum capacity is 80 people, and the latest permitted end time is 2:00 a.m.

Location and Activities

The property is located in the municipality of Girardota, 20 kilometers from Medellín, in a traditional Antioquian region historically known for producing panela, or unrefined cane sugar.

A qualified guide can be arranged for horseback riding tours along the “Sugarcane Route” at a cost of 120,000 COP per person. The tour travels through the surrounding mountains, where guests can see the artisanal machinery local farmers use to process sugarcane while enjoying a scenic horseback ride.

Guest Access

Guests may use and enjoy all areas of the farm except the interior of the lake. This restriction helps protect guest safety and preserve the local species. Fishing is prohibited.

The gardens must be preserved, so playing in them and removing plants is not permitted.

Jacuzzi

Guests may use the jacuzzi for three hours per day between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Please select the desired time and request access at least three hours in advance so the water can be heated and the equipment started.

Vehicle Rentals

Three luxury vehicles are available for rent:

• Chevrolet Tahoe: 800,000 COP per day
• Audi Q8: 650,000 COP per day
• Porsche Cayenne Coupé: 900,000 COP per day

Additional Information

• After 20 guests, each additional overnight guest costs 22 USD.
• For events with more than 20 attendees, each additional person costs 10 USD.
• The event center has a maximum capacity of 80 people.
• The maximum permitted event time is 2:00 a.m.
• The lodging includes a butler who is available for eight hours per day and is responsible for cleaning the house.
• Loud music, sky lanterns, and fireworks or gunpowder of any kind are prohibited.
• The permitted sound level is 55 decibels, in accordance with Resolution 0627 of 2006 issued by the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Development.
