We had a wonderful stay!! 10/10 recommend

Spacious room with very responsive hosts—they are super communicative and help you with everything from transportation to excursions. Really warm and welcoming! I will say the beach isn’t really a beach—there’s a retaining wall and then you can swim off the docks. But it’s very pretty and has volleyball, pool, and kayaks!

The condo was beautiful and clean and loved that 2/3 of the rooms had attached ensuite bathrooms. The host was 10/10, even printed off my son’s homework for us! Only area for improvement is that there were only 5 beach chairs for 2 buildings, and people from other condos came over to use also/“reserve” with their towels early. Need more chairs :-) Super handy to get picked up for excursions right from the pier. FYI the beach is pretty but not great for playing in. There are no waves, it’s clear and shallow but the sand is quicksand like with warnings about crocodiles in the water so the kids stayed in the pool. Incredible beach for kids at Secret Beach though, highly recommend that. And go snorkeling at shark ray alley, excellent experience! We also dove the blue hole which was iconic as advertised. Also note that food on the island is expensive. Paid $20USD for a 12 pack of flavored water for example. Check out Robin’s kitchen for a break on your wallet and delicious jerk chicken.

Condo had everything we needed. Management team was responsive and helpful. Only about a 20min ride to anywhere you want to go. The pool was always quiet and the bartender was fun and made whatever drinks you wanted.

Our experience was great. We had our family of 4 with a 19 and 22 year old. This was our first time to Belize and we had no idea to what to expect. Our kids had a blast and so did the parents. Onsite bar tender at the pool was a bonus. Great restaurants within a 15 minute cart ride, and a couple of the places closer to the condo were fun as well. The management company and all the staff are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the cave tubing and the extra cost for the plane ride is worth it. Snorkeling is easy and a blast.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Villa Tortuga in Ambergris Caye. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and special. Richard, the concierge, was incredible—he had everything perfectly arranged in advance and made booking excursions effortless. Dennis was also amazing, always quick to help with anything we needed. The location was peaceful and private with a stunning ocean view, and the villa itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we could’ve needed. It was so comfortable and felt like home the moment we walked in. One of the best parts was being picked up right at the dock in front of the villa for our adventures—it made everything so easy and fun. Exploring on the golf cart was truly the best part! Our family of 6 with four teens loved the location!! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We will definitely be returning and can’t recommend Villa Tortuga highly enough!

We had a great stay here. Away from the busy town but close enough to enjoy what the town had to offer. Richard and Dennis were extremely friendly, responsive and helpful.
