The Space

Oasia Costa Rica is a private nine-bedroom estate above Uvita’s Pacific coast, designed for families, friends, retreats, and celebrations. Six elemental units—Wood, Water, Fire, Air, Metal, and Rock—create a balance of privacy and connection across nearly 17,000 square meters, or approximately four acres, of private land with jungle and ocean views.

The estate’s central features include:

The developed area sits at the top of the property and includes the main house, six casitas, pool, decks, and shared gathering spaces. Walking trails lead down through the gardens, jungle paths, and food forest for guests to explore.

Each unit is named after a force of nature and offers a distinct atmosphere and layout.

Wood

Metal Duplex

• Two bedrooms, each configured with either a king bed or two Twin-XL beds
• Full private kitchen
• One private bathroom shared between the two bedrooms
• Twin-XL daybed in the living area for one additional guest
• The daybed is included in the total of 15 beds
• Flexible layout suitable for a variety of group arrangements

Rock Duplex

• Two queen bedrooms
• One private bathroom shared between the two bedrooms
• Intimate layout suited to close friends or family pairings

Capacity

The estate accommodates:

• Up to 18 guests across nine bedrooms
• Up to 21 guests with three additional beds:
  • Wood Twin-XL daybed
  • Water alcove Twin bed
  • Metal Twin-XL daybed
• 15 beds in total
• Six bathrooms

The ideal group size is 10–14 guests, allowing everyone to have a dedicated bed while keeping the shared spaces comfortable. Solo retreats can accommodate eight guests and one facilitator, with one private bedroom for each person.

Each duplex bathroom is shared only by the two bedrooms within that suite. It is never shared with guests outside your group. This arrangement works well for parents and teenagers, close couples, siblings, or retreat participants who naturally connect through shared routines.

The estate is surrounded by rainforest, with regular wildlife visits that may include howler monkeys, toucans, scarlet macaws, iguanas, and blue morpho butterflies.

• Close to Nauyaca Waterfalls, Corcovado, and Manuel Antonio

The property offers easy access to town while remaining surrounded by the stillness of the rainforest.

Guest Access

The entire approximately four-acre estate is private and exclusive to your group during your stay. Access includes:

• Six elemental units
• Central inside-outside pool
• Cold plunge
• Yoga and meditation deck

• Jungle trails
• Fruit-bearing food forest with chickens
• Tropical gardens

The estate is booked as a whole and is never shared with other guests.

Additional Information

All nine bedrooms have full walls, windows, air conditioning, and private, enclosed interiors. The main great room, which includes the living, dining, and kitchen areas, has an open-concept design that flows directly onto the pool deck and into the gardens. Curtains are available for guests who prefer to close the space.

This indoor-outdoor design brings the rainforest into the experience while maintaining private, enclosed bedrooms.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. After sunset, the surrounding jungle provides the natural soundtrack, including frogs, insects, and occasional howler monkeys at dawn.

The property includes:

• One central inside-outside pool
• One cold plunge
• One bathtub for soaking and relaxation

A four-wheel-drive vehicle is highly recommended, as some smaller cars may not manage the climb. Backup parking is available 20 meters down the road on the property’s own land, followed by a short walk up to the house. Private transportation from SJO can be arranged on request.

The estate is exclusively yours during your stay. No additional guests beyond those included in the confirmed booking may use the property, including the pool and deck areas. Any additions require prior approval from the host.

The outdoor rinse shower at Air runs at one comfortable warm temperature, which is typical of tropical jungle properties in Costa Rica. All indoor showers in the units have standard hot water.

Brief power outages occasionally occur throughout Costa Rica. They are usually short but are part of life near the rainforest.
