The Property

Casa Puesta del Sol Villas 1 and 2 consists of two attached, side-by-side gated villas. Guests have exclusive access to both properties.

• Each villa measures 3,300 square feet.
• Combined size: 6,600 square feet.
• Eight bedrooms and eight full bathrooms plus two half bathrooms in total.
• Every bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom.
• Each villa accommodates up to 10 guests, for a combined maximum of 20 guests.
• Each villa has its own private pool.
• A backyard gate provides convenient access between the two pool areas.
• Both villas feature three levels, contemporary design, custom furnishings, and locally sourced artwork.
• Much of the woodwork was handcrafted by a local Costa Rican artisan.
• Three stories of glass windows offer views of the private pools, tropical gardens, and partial ocean views.

The Space

Welcome to Casa Puesta del Sol Villas 1 and 2 in beautiful Playa Langosta. The villas are bright, spacious, and designed for comfortable group stays.

The first floor of each villa features an open-concept layout with:

• Living room
• Half bathroom
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Dining area
• Laundry room

The second floor contains three bedrooms, while the third floor includes the fourth bedroom and a balcony with sweeping views, including a partial view of the ocean.

Sleeping Arrangements

Villa 1 includes:

• Three king beds
• One full-size pull-out sofa
• One twin-over-full bunk bed

Villa 2 includes:

• Three king beds
• One queen-size pull-out sofa sleeper
• One twin-over-full bunk bed

Third-Floor Suites

The third-floor bedrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, along with balconies overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Guests can watch the sunset, relax beneath the stars, read quietly with a cup of Costa Rican coffee, listen to nearby birds, and observe howler monkeys in the trees.

Each third-floor suite includes a large en-suite bathroom.

• Villa 1 has dual sinks, a large walk-in shower, and a modern freestanding bathtub.
• Villa 2 has dual sinks, a large dual shower, and a jetted bathtub beside large windows overlooking the ocean.

Second-Floor Bedrooms

The second-floor primary suites feature:

• King-size bed
• Large walk-in closet
• Spacious en-suite bathroom
• Dual sinks
• Large walk-in shower
• Small terrace overlooking the pool

The terraces provide views of the palm trees and colorful birds that visit the backyard.

The additional second-floor bedrooms can be accessed through a separate entrance from the garage stairs or through the door at the end of the hallway. Each includes:

• King-size bed
• Pull-out sofa
• En-suite bathroom

The fourth bedrooms feature:

• Twin-over-full bunk bed
• En-suite bathroom
• Small walk-in closet

Kitchens and Living Areas

Both villas have large, fully equipped kitchens where guests can prepare meals or frozen drinks while enjoying views of birds and butterflies through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining and garden areas.

Each living room includes:

• Large sectional sofa
• Additional sofa
• Seating bench
• Oversized swivel chair
• 55-inch LCD Smart TV

Each villa also has an indoor dining area with a custom, locally crafted resin river table. Guests may also dine outdoors beside the pool.

Outdoor Areas

Professionally maintained tropical gardens surround each private backyard pool.

• Rattan-style pool furniture is provided around each pool.
• A gate connects the two backyards for easy access between the pool areas.
• Each villa has a gas grill for preparing steaks, seafood, and other meals.
• Each property includes a private gated parking area and alarm system.

Tamarindo is approximately one mile away and can be reached by car, taxi, or a short walk along the southern end of Tamarindo Beach.

Rincon de la Vieja tours vary, but may include combinations of zip-lining, hot springs, volcanic mud baths, ATV rides, horseback riding, nature walks, and lunch. The concierge can arrange these tours and include transportation if needed.
