The Space
Relax on the patio while taking in beautiful views of our farm and the stunning Lake Arenal. Our tranquil home is situated on 4 acres of organic orchard land. Wander along trails surrounded by hundreds of young fruit trees and pick fresh greens from our organic garden beds. You can also dip your toes in the natural creek located at the bottom of the property beneath the rainforest canopy.
This jungle retreat in Costa Rica overlooks the pristine Lake Arenal. The house features elegant hardwood Guanacaste doors, cabinets, closets, and barn doors. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances for your convenience.
The bedroom is furnished with a premium king mattress to ensure a restful night's sleep. The spacious walk-in shower includes both a rainfall showerhead and a handheld wand. You can also enjoy playing our upright piano, a cherished family wedding gift.
Sliding glass doors open to a private patio with a chaise lounge, ideal for morning coffee accompanied by toucans and monkeys, or for watching breathtaking sunsets over the land and lake. To enhance your stay, we provide games, books, and art supplies, all set against the inspiring backdrop of the jungle.
Guest Access
Please note that the driveway is steep and rocky. Many drivers find it challenging to navigate, so renting a four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended.
The apartment is located downstairs and can be accessed from the left side of the building when facing the lake. We reside upstairs, which is a private area.

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

Joanna and Thomas’s place is phenomenal. The views from the porch were breathtaking, the pictures can’t do it justice!! They give you great recommendations for places to eat and shop as well. The communication and check in was super easy. The home itself is extremely stylish and very clean. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay near Arenal. I would recommend a 4x4 wheel drive vehicle (as they recommend as well) as the driveway is fairly steep. Overall we loved our time here.
