Villa las Parotas

Overview

Villa las Parotas is a peaceful retreat for guests who want to enjoy the beauty of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo from a spacious, comfortable beach house near the ocean, while remaining away from the sometimes-noisy local beachfront.

We are delighted to welcome families and groups of friends to our beautiful four-bedroom beach house with a media room. Enjoy the hospitality of our management and staff, along with the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

The Space

Villa las Parotas sits on a 17,000-square-foot property, creating an open indoor atmosphere and a beautiful private garden filled with lush vegetation and majestic parota trees. The trees provide partial shade across the outdoor areas.

The house comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests and includes:

• Three spacious bedrooms
• A studio
• A media room
• A workspace with high-speed internet
• A spacious living room
• A dining room
• A terrace
• A fully equipped kitchen

Bedrooms

The main bedroom is located on the second floor and features:

• A comfortable king-size bed
• A large walk-in closet
• A full bathroom with a shower and hot tub area
• Views of the garden

On the ground floor, the first bedroom includes a double bed and a single bed positioned above a boat-shaped structure. The design provides a fun climbing feature and an adventurous sleeping space for children.

Further down the hall, the third bedroom has a king-size bed and a single bed above the walk-in closet, creating an additional sleeping area.

The studio includes two twin beds.

All bedrooms and the media room have air-conditioning units and ceiling fans. The living and dining areas do not have air conditioning, but they are equipped with ceiling fans and portable floor fans. Cross-ventilation, high ceilings, and the generally fresh atmosphere help keep these spaces comfortable.

The kitchen is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Please let us know if you have any special requests.

Guest Access

The house is exclusively for the use of the families or groups staying there. Guests have full access to the entire property, which is not shared with other groups during their stay.

Staff and Services

Rosy is our longtime housekeeper, a wonderful person, and a great cook. Flor handles the daily cleaning and is also kind and helpful.

They are generally at the house every day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., except Sundays.

• Rosy can prepare breakfast without an additional preparation fee.
• She can also prepare lunch or leave a meal ready for dinner for a small additional preparation fee.
• For food preparation and serving after 3:00 p.m., we can recommend a local cook who can prepare dinner for an additional fee.
• Don Fernando, Rosy’s husband, takes great pride in caring for the garden.
• Sergio maintains the pool and serves as caretaker.
• Don Fernando is generally at the property from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Sergio arrives earlier in the morning every other day.

For greater privacy, staff visits can be reduced to a minimum of two days per week, for two to three hours per day.

Tips

Tips for the staff are greatly appreciated. We suggest $6–$10 per day, equivalent to approximately 120–220 pesos. Please give your tips to Rosy so she can distribute them among the rest of the team.

Pets

We love pets, but they require additional cleaning and garden care. There is no pet fee; however, if you bring a pet, please consider giving the staff an additional tip to account for waste handling and extra cleaning.
