I stayed at Bolola/Casa Mayor, this spectacular home in the heart of Getsemani, for my wedding trip. I can say without any reservation that it is one of the loveliest, warmest AirBnB stays I've ever had the privilege of enjoying. The house is cared for by a rotating team that elevates it from a beautiful house to a nurturing home - Jose was always onsite to help us with our luggage and in the evenings, Mr. Rafa would give us great recommendations for places to eat or enjoy a drink. The many rooms were all spotless, fantastically cooled by individual A/C units, and cared for with a great deal of attention to detail. The house's common areas are now part of some of my most beautiful memories from my wedding week - the pool especially is perfect for the Cartagena heat! I especially want to shout out Hector, our coordinator. He was exceptionally attentive, making sure we all felt comfortable and accommodated; we have him to thank for how wonderful our stay in Cartagena was. We'll be back!

The house's location is exceptional. You have all kinds of restaurants and supermarkets next door. The place was clean, it has very large spaces, it has many rooms all in very good condition.

We came to Cartagena as a group of 12 friends. The house had individual rooms to accommodate everyone comfortably. The house has multiple areas where you can get together and party. The pool was a surprisingly large. The pictures don’t do it justice and it was cleaned and maintained every morning. The staff was excellent. Hector was very professional and helped us immensely with onboarding and arranging everything we needed. And there is Jose, who attended our every request throughout the day. He was kind and eager to help us in everything. Would definitely recommend this property to a large group. It is 5 mins walk from the clock tower and city center so we saved a ton of money we would have otherwise spend on taxis for our large group.

The location was perfect for our trip. The home is in Getsemani which is a lively local area outside of the wall but within walking distance. Jose and Hector were very helpful in accommodating us during our stay.
