The property is designed to maintain power and hot water, unlike many other homes in Iguana that are vulnerable to frequent power cuts.
Pool Access
Guests are welcome to use the pool, and we are happy to share it when we are there. If guests are staying in the main house, the pool is a shared amenity.
Guest Access
Bookings are based on double occupancy per bedroom, meaning two guests per bedroom. If you are traveling as two guests and would each like your own bedroom, select three guests when booking, which is the minimum required for access to both bedrooms.
Bedroom Usage
To offer the best value in the area, bedroom access is based on the size of your group.
The casita has two full bedrooms with excellent air conditioning:
- One bedroom has a queen bed.
- The other bedroom has two twin beds.
- Each bedroom has its own bathroom with abundant hot water.
Bedroom access is arranged as follows:
- Bookings for one or two guests include access to one bedroom.
- Bookings for three or four guests include access to both bedrooms.
- If you are two guests and each person prefers a private room, please book for three guests.
Please let us know your preferred bedroom when booking. The unused bedroom will remain locked.
Electricity Use
The home has a high-capacity solar-battery hybrid system, but this does not provide unlimited energy. Electricity in Nicaragua is expensive and inconsistent, particularly on cloudy or stormy days.
Please follow these guidelines:
- Keep doors and windows closed when air conditioning is running.
- Turn off air conditioning in unoccupied rooms.
- Turn off all air conditioning before leaving the property.
- Limit air-conditioning use during the day when possible. Natural ventilation is usually sufficient and more comfortable.

The place was perfection. I will stay there again and definitely recommend it to anyone. The pool is fantastic and it's a pretty private setting. The owners were visiting the main house for a couple days so we got to spend time with them also. That was extra nice.

It was a pleasant stay. The neighborhood is quiet so we were able to rest. The house is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and the host is very responsive.

Our stay at Iguanas exceeded every expectation and then some. The house was exactly what we were hoping for—beautiful, comfortable, and fully equipped for a perfect getaway. The service was phenomenal from start to finish, with the host being responsive, helpful, and truly committed to making our stay enjoyable. The golf course was in excellent condition, which made the experience even more special for those of us who play. We also loved the variety of restaurant options within the complex—there was something for everyone, and every meal was a treat. We would absolutely recommend renting from this host and hope to return again in the future!

The apartment was neat, spotlessly clean and very organized. I loved that the host was 💯 in communication and attentive to my arrival and stay. Perfect location I loved the details of the stay, it had purified drinking water, paper towels, condiments and cooking utensils, a large refrigerator, pool towels and shower. The pool is very nice and clean. There are terrace areas to share with guests and the house is on hole 2 of the Residence Golf Course, which is wonderful! In conclusion, my stay was very nice, pleasant and organized! I would definitely come back and gladly!

Host was super easy to deal with always quick to respond, really great deal for price , we had place to ourselves, restaurants on hacienda iguana were really good although higher priced than outside. Staff at house were awesome as was everyone we met. Felt super safe with lots to do , surf, hike golf relax. Would recommend to anyone, only thing to remember is ocean is not as warm as you think in windy season!

The place is super nice, clean, to arrive and disconnect from the day to day. The gardener and the cleaning lady were super attentive, James always communicated with us. The electricity never failed us during the days we were staying. Everything was excellent!
