The Space
This casita offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, located near the Colorados and Panga Drops surf breaks. It includes a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room, along with excellent terraces for relaxation. High-speed fiber optic internet is available.
A surfboard-carrying bike-buggy is provided for convenient trips to the beach. Guests are welcome to use the pool during their stay.
The property features double power redundancy with a full hybrid battery-solar system and a backup gas generator. Gas water heating ensures continuous hot water. Unlike many homes in Iguana, this property is well protected against frequent power outages.
The main house is usually unoccupied, so guests often have the entire place to themselves. The hosts may be present on weekends or during school holidays and are happy to share the pool during those times.
Guest Access
Booking is based on double occupancy per bedroom, meaning two guests per bedroom. If two guests each want their own bedroom, please book as a group of three (the minimum for two bedrooms).
Bedroom Usage
To provide the best value, bedroom access depends on the size of the group. The casita has two fully air-conditioned bedrooms:
- One bedroom with a queen bed
- One bedroom with two twin beds
Each bedroom has its own bathroom with ample hot water.
- Bookings for 1–2 guests include access to one bedroom.
- Bookings for 3–4 guests include access to both bedrooms.
If two guests prefer separate bedrooms, please book as a group of three. When booking, indicate your preferred bedroom. The unused bedroom will remain locked.
Electricity Use
The home is equipped with a high-capacity solar-battery hybrid system, but energy use is not unlimited. Electricity in Nicaragua can be costly and unreliable, especially during cloudy or stormy weather.
To conserve energy:
- Keep doors and windows closed in rooms with air conditioning.
- Turn off air conditioning in unoccupied rooms.
- Switch off all air conditioning units when leaving the property.
- Limit air conditioning use during the day, as natural ventilation is usually sufficient and more comfortable.

The place was perfection. I will stay there again and definitely recommend it to anyone. The pool is fantastic and it's a pretty private setting. The owners were visiting the main house for a couple days so we got to spend time with them also. That was extra nice.

Our stay at Iguanas exceeded every expectation and then some. The house was exactly what we were hoping for—beautiful, comfortable, and fully equipped for a perfect getaway. The service was phenomenal from start to finish, with the host being responsive, helpful, and truly committed to making our stay enjoyable. The golf course was in excellent condition, which made the experience even more special for those of us who play. We also loved the variety of restaurant options within the complex—there was something for everyone, and every meal was a treat. We would absolutely recommend renting from this host and hope to return again in the future!

The apartment was neat, spotlessly clean and very organized. I loved that the host was 💯 in communication and attentive to my arrival and stay. Perfect location I loved the details of the stay, it had purified drinking water, paper towels, condiments and cooking utensils, a large refrigerator, pool towels and shower. The pool is very nice and clean. There are terrace areas to share with guests and the house is on hole 2 of the Residence Golf Course, which is wonderful! In conclusion, my stay was very nice, pleasant and organized! I would definitely come back and gladly!

Host was super easy to deal with always quick to respond, really great deal for price , we had place to ourselves, restaurants on hacienda iguana were really good although higher priced than outside. Staff at house were awesome as was everyone we met. Felt super safe with lots to do , surf, hike golf relax. Would recommend to anyone, only thing to remember is ocean is not as warm as you think in windy season!

The place is super nice, clean, to arrive and disconnect from the day to day. The gardener and the cleaning lady were super attentive, James always communicated with us. The electricity never failed us during the days we were staying. Everything was excellent!
