Location
The villa is located just minutes from Tamarindo Beach, known for its excellent surfing waves and beautiful scenery. Guests can easily explore local restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities in the area.
The villa is well suited to family vacations, peaceful retreats, and getaways with friends.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire villa except for:
- The garage
- The laundry room, which is reserved for the housekeeping team
- The apartment adjoining the villa
The housekeeping team can wash your laundry upon request.
Access and Transportation
The access road to the villa has recently been paved along the previously steep and difficult section, significantly improving accessibility. The villa can now be reached easily with any type of vehicle, including during the rainy season.
A four-wheel-drive vehicle or sport utility vehicle is no longer necessary, although a higher-clearance car remains a comfortable option for exploring the surrounding areas.

Water and Electricity
Tap water in Costa Rica is safe to drink.
The villa has a 10,000-liter water tank to help maintain water availability during interruptions to the municipal supply. However, during power outages, the water pump will not operate, and there may be no water in the house.
Water and power outages are generally brief but are beyond the host’s control and cannot be grounds for a refund. The Tamarindo region is particularly dry for much of the year, so please use water responsibly.
Laundry Room
The villa includes a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Access is reserved for the housekeeping team, who can do your laundry upon request for an additional fee. Guests do not have independent access to the laundry facilities.

Housekeeping Schedule
Every three days, except Sundays:
- The villa will be cleaned to keep it fresh and comfortable.

Book this stay- NOW. Steve’s place was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures do it no justice. Very clean, and has everything you will need. If there’s something that you need and the place doesn’t have it, Steve has the answers and is willing to help very quickly. The only downside is the hill leading up to the villa.. you will need some sort of motor vehicle. However, everything else with this place outweighs the hill. I would definitely stay here again and thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

This is beautiful place very close to town center. Steve and Claire live right next door to the house. They are wonderful people and enjoyed talking to them. Even though they live next door in separate entrance living space you will feel as they are not there (if that is your concern). We felt better knowing they are right next door incase we needed some help. Last kilometers is literally 45 degrees incline so make sure you get the 4x4. The house is new built within last year or two and built to impress. The sunset views from pool is outstanding. Highly recommended place.

If my friend and I could give this place more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! It was an absolute 10 out of 10 stay in Tamarindo. The space was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and we loved that they provided thorough cleaning every 3 days. The view from the property was truly exceptional and a highlight of our trip. The location was unbeatable, and the space felt like a comfortable home away from home. To top it all off, the hosts, Steve and Claire, were incredibly pleasant, making check-in a breeze and communication seamless. Their thoughtful hospitality made us feel so welcome. We would love to stay here again and cannot recommend them highly enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Chiric. The villa is modern, new, very tastefully decorated and really fully equipped. Everything is well thought out, functional and exactly as you would want it for a relaxing family vacation. The pool with the magnificent view was an absolute highlight. This will certainly stay with my three children and me for a long time. Steve and Claire were extremely personable, attentive and proactive hosts. Communication was always straightforward, prompt, and friendly. We felt very comfortable from the first moment and would book the villa again anytime. Clear recommendation!

Had a great time at Steve and Claire’s place. The space was exactly as described and close to downtown Tamarindo, if you are debating whether you should book this place just do it! Treat yourself to a luxurious vacation in the heart of it all. Pool was amazing, beds and linen were super comfortable and felt like a high-quality hotel and was a welcome relief after leaving La Fortuna to have that kind of luxury. Would stay again if in Tamarindo.

Steve’s place was amazing! We even got to see some monkeys off in the distance on the first day. The place was immaculate and very accommodating. Everybody has a view from a balcony off the rooms which is a nice touch. A couple of bugs, but we are in the jungle after all. Looking to come back in the future.

10/10 stay. The property is absolutely stunning—beautiful architecture that blends perfectly with the surrounding jungle. Everything was thoughtfully designed and put together, creating a unique and relaxing experience. The only thing worth mentioning is that the road getting to the property can be a little challenging to navigate. A 2WD vehicle is completely fine, but a 4WD would make the drive even easier. We rented a small Honda Civic-type car and had no issues at all—we were cruising. Overall, an incredible place to stay. The setting, design, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful jungle getaway.
