Casa Brillante is a modern, chic Spanish-style home located one block from the plaza. Its ocean-view rooftop is ideal for relaxing and sunbathing, while the backyard garden and dipping pool offer a peaceful retreat. Bright, open spaces, tropical landscaping, and carefully considered design details create a luxurious atmosphere.

Absolutely no parties are allowed.

The Space

• The property is completely private. No areas are shared with other units or listings.
• The home spans four levels:
  1. Lower level: Backyard, traditional brick barbecue grill, lower dining table, and hammock.
  2. Second level: Master bedroom, two additional bedrooms, dipping pool, and outdoor shower.
  3. Street level: Living room, kitchen, ocean-view balcony with outdoor dining table, and third bedroom.
  4. Upper level: Ocean-view rooftop with two reclining sun loungers and a large umbrella.
• Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a rainfall shower and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide abundant natural light.
• There are four full bathrooms in total. A fifth outdoor shower is located on the second level, just outside the master bedroom.
• The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, desk, workspace, couch, and table seating area.
• Two additional bedrooms are located beside the pool, adjacent to the master bedroom.
• The backyard features a garden, traditional brick barbecue grill, and dipping pool.
• The rooftop offers beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and Sayulita’s main beach.
• An ocean-view balcony with an outdoor dining table is located just outside the living room and kitchen.
• Numerous outdoor seating areas make indoor-outdoor living easy and comfortable.
• Safe, filtered drinking water is provided in 20-liter jugs with a water dispenser, eliminating the need for single-use plastic bottles.
• A dual ORBI Wi-Fi system provides coverage throughout the property. The internet was recently upgraded from DSL to fiber optic, and the latest speed test recorded 47 Mbps. General web browsing, email, and social media typically require no more than 1 Mbps. Although the Wi-Fi is reliable and many guests have worked remotely here for extended periods, occasional internet and power outages do occur in Sayulita.
• Yard and pool maintenance takes place twice weekly. Please be prepared for the maintenance team’s presence.
• The home is within walking distance of town and one block from the plaza, while remaining far enough away from the noise.
• No parking is available on the property.

House Rules

Casa Brillante is our personal home for more than half the year. It is a labor of love that we have built and refined over many years, with artwork and personal touches throughout. Please treat the home gently and follow these guidelines:

• Parties and smoking are strictly prohibited on the property.
• Any guests staying at the home who were not listed at the time of booking require prior approval.
• Please avoid excessively loud music and respect the neighbors’ quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• Use the air-conditioning units only while you are in the room, with all doors and windows closed.
• Please give the air-conditioning units as much downtime as possible to help prevent leaks or damage. Do not run them continuously, and turn all units off before leaving the property.
• We do not recommend renting a golf cart. There is no dedicated parking space or suitable area on the property for charging one, and golf carts typically need to be charged nightly. Street parking for cars is usually available approximately half a block away.
• Guests with mobility issues may find the home unsuitable. Although the plaza is only one block away, reaching it requires either stairs or a steep street. The home has four levels, including the backyard and rooftop, so please consider whether the stairs are appropriate for you before booking.
• No washer or dryer is available for guest use.
• Any damage to the property or its contents will be charged at the cost of repair or replacement, plus labor.
• The pool is not heated.
