Villa Flamenco is a 3-bedroom villa with a large pool, two kitchens, BBQ, and outdoor lounge. Located in Playa Grande, it’s just a two-minute drive from the beach and sleeps 8.
The Space
Welcome to Villa Flamenco, a thoughtfully designed retreat offering spacious indoor and outdoor gathering areas alongside quiet, private spaces. The villa is arranged across two separate wings and includes:

- An outdoor living area overlooking the pool and garden
- An exercise area with weights and mats
- Local plants and artwork throughout the property
Built in 2020, Villa Flamenco features multifunctional spaces and a distinctive two-wing layout. One wing contains the master suite, which opens through sliding doors onto the pool and garden. The other wing includes two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom on an upper floor overlooking the outdoor living area and exercise zone.

Start your morning with Costa Rican coffee and a homemade gourmet brunch in the Parisian bistro-style breakfast area beside the pool.
Outdoor Living
After breakfast, drive approximately two minutes to Playa Grande for sunbathing, surfing, picnicking, or watching the sunset. When you return, rinse off sand and dirt in the outdoor shower.
For a barbecue featuring local flavors, visit Carnes San Martin Pacific, a local butcher shop approximately 15 minutes from Villa Flamenco. The shop offers a variety of excellent cuts and freshly butchered meats, vacuum-sealed for convenience and safety.
Prepare your favorite meats and vegetables on the professional high-end gas barbecue. The retractable awning provides shade for outdoor dining with family and friends. In the evening, relax beneath the starry sky on the comfortable sectional in the outdoor lounge, or pour yourself a pint of draft beer at the bar featuring beer from a local microbrewery.
If you would like to order a keg during your stay, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so it can be ordered and delivered to Villa Flamenco.

Additional Information
A draft beer dispenser is installed in the Flamenco bar. Guests who enjoy microbrewery beer can request a special order of local draft beer and pour a fresh pint during their stay. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice so the beer can be ordered and delivered shortly before arrival.

We enjoyed our stay! The host was wonderful, very responsive, and provided great recommendations that made our trip even better. The home was comfortable, clean, and had a great overall atmosphere. One thing to be aware of is that the bedrooms are separated between two buildings. There were 2 bedrooms in one building loft style, while the master bedroom is in a separate building, so all of the rooms are not under the same roof. This worked out fine for us, but it’s definitely something future guests may want to know when booking. One of the room’s AC filters could also use a change, as there was a noticeable smell coming from the unit. We also wish the property was a little closer to restaurants and activities, as there weren’t many things to do within close proximity. Overall, we had a great experience, and the host truly made the stay enjoyable with their hospitality and helpful recommendations. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Great house, exactly as pictured, though it’s starting to show some small signs of wear and tear. Sébastien and his team were extremely responsive to all our questions throughout the stay. The location is ideal: less than 5 minutes from the beach, restaurants, and a convenience store in the small area of Playa Grande, with Tamarindo and Conchal both about 30 minutes away for easy day trips. The house is well equipped, from kitchen appliances to beach gear like a cooler, which made day to day life easy. One thing to flag: the living room and kitchen only have fans, no A/C (this seems to be common in CR). We didn’t spend much time indoors since the outdoor areas are great, but worth knowing if you’re working remotely and need A/C to focus, the bedrooms would be the only place to station yourself.

We had a wonderful stay the last 11 days. The house had tons of room for all of our guests. The outside area is great! We were able to grill, eat outside, play games, and enjoy the pool when we were home! There are plently of towels and bedding. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys which were so much fun to use. The location is great. We could walk to resturants and the beach. Sebastien responded promptly to any of my questions and was able to provide activities in the area where we were staying. We cannot wait to go back!

The pool had way too much chlorine. My daughter’s eyes got extremely irritated, and my son and I go extreme rashes and had to get prescription medication to treat them. This sucked as it was our first stay on our trip and caused my son and I to miss swimming for a three days of our trip. The power and water went out at 7PM on our second day. Next day by 11AM it still wasn’t on so we had to make plans for another place. Power outage sucks, but bathroom is a must. We asked about a refund. He said Airbnb is in charge of that, not him. Turns out, Airbnb has you work with the host and steps in only when it can’t be resolved that way. He then gave a refund of less than a night with no communication about it when we initiated with Airbnb. Airbnb then took over when we communicated directly with them and asked about their Major Disruptive Events Policy. Airbnb refunded us the full claim. Understand he didn’t cause the outage, but he’s running a business and it’s the cost of business

Sebsstien’s villa was everything but amazing.Looks just like the photos your personal sanctuary… the pool outside the master suite was my favorite.. Sébastien was very responsive..I would definitely book again if ever in Costa Rica baby!!!!his place is a must!!!

Sebastian’s place was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly as described. It was clean and well-maintained. We felt very safe and secure there. Sebastian was so kind and helpful! His staff was also great and very accommodating. Will definitely be back!! Pura Vida.

The house is very nice and super spacious. The pool is the perfect size, it had everything we needed, we enjoyed it, and we were comfortable. It's best to drive to the beach, as it's not that close; it's beautiful, and the sunsets are lovely. We had problems with the water, as the water company cuts off the supply at specific times, but Sebastián was always attentive and communicative about this.
