The Space
Experience breathtaking views from this private jungle home featuring a unique three-tiered pool and hot tub. The property overlooks the entire outdoor area, with sights stretching from Carara all the way to Manuel Antonio. The house includes three master suites with a total of nine beds, providing ample space for guests.
Although it feels secluded, the home is conveniently located just 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Jaco and nearby beaches such as Hermosa and Herradura. Manuel Antonio National Park is an hour away, and the international airport in San Jose is approximately 1.5 hours from the property.
This nearly new construction offers over 4,000 square feet of covered living space alongside impressive outdoor areas. Terraces on the upper level and decking around the pool provide stunning jungle views throughout.
The pool is divided into three connected sections:
- The large top pool is ideal for both relaxation and play.
- The middle pool offers a quiet retreat even when the top pool is busy.
- The bottom pool functions as a hot tub, comfortably accommodating 12 or more guests and accessible via a direct path.
Inside, the three master suites include two spacious upper bedrooms with covered terraces that provide privacy due to the home's layout. The lower suite features an outdoor shower. There is plenty of seating available to enjoy morning coffee or simply unwind while taking in the jungle surroundings.
The kitchen is fully equipped and opens to a dining area furnished with a handcrafted wooden table and eight chairs. Nearly all furniture, except for one bed, was handmade in the nearby village of Bijigual, complementing the jungle ambiance.
Additional interior features include:
- Nine beds total, with seven located in the bedrooms for comfortable sleeping arrangements.
- Four air conditioning units: one in each bedroom and one in the common area.
- Five smart TVs: one in each bedroom and two in the common spaces.
- Outdoor ceiling fans to enhance the natural breeze.
This home offers all the comforts you could desire in a secluded jungle setting.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire property except for a small section of one closet in the upper bedrooms, which is reserved for storage and personal belongings. Each bedroom provides ample storage space, including large dressers or built-in cabinets.
Location
The property is situated within a small gated community. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended due to the terrain.
Although only eight miles from Jaco, the home is accessed via a dirt road commonly used for ATV tours. The road to the Adventure Park, located five miles away, is more challenging, while the route to Tarcoles is longer but better maintained and easier to navigate.
The driveway is steep and may require some adjustment. Locals use various types of vehicles, but a 4x4 with good clearance is best suited for this location.
Part of the experience includes the scenic drive, which passes waterfalls and rivers. The dirt road helps keep the area less crowded, preserving its status as a hidden gem.
Amenities and Nearby Attractions
- Two restaurants are within walking distance, including the local favorite Rancho Shadday, known for its famous owner Donna Marta.
- The village of Bijigual is just two miles away and offers additional dining options and small markets.

This house was absolutely fantastic for my family. The pictures online are just as advertised. Beautiful jungle canopy view with a million birds. (Hint: download the Merlin Bird ID app) There are countless different kinds and also the amazing wildlife and ecology is second to none. The house is fantastic along with the pool and hot tub. Directly at the house, we saw countless macaws, a resident iguana who came around a couple of times, a Coati, a poison dart frog and a million other species right from the back deck. If you are coming to Costa Rica to enjoy Jaco but also want to spend your mornings/evenings in a quiet peaceful setting this place is perfect. The road up is a bit of an adventure but as long as you have four-wheel drive and reasonable clearance in the vehicle it is doable and a bit fun. Jeffrey is an outstanding communicator. He is friendly and I would absolutely rent this place again (or buy it if he ever wants to sell!)

The pictures do not do this place justice! The panoramic views are breathtaking with gorgeous sunrises to wake up to daily. This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Thanks to Jeffery for allowing us this amazing opportunity!

Even nicer in person than the photos! The drive there is definitely rough, but 100% worth it for the incredible view. The place wasn’t spotless, but honestly we’re in Costa Rica and that’s pretty much what I expected — it still felt comfortable and authentic. Waking up to that scenery made every bump in the road worth it. Great experience overall and I’d absolutely stay again. Would recommend 1000%. FYI my mom fell inlove with this place. She wants to go back to Costa Rica just to stay in this villa the full 10 days

Beyond impressed with this beautiful home and could not have asked for a better location! While the roads getting there can definitely be a little rough, it's nothing you can't manage with the proper rental. Because of the rugged terrain and location at the top of the mountains, we saw so many birds and incredible wildlife right from the home. Every morning we had different birds in the tree right outside our bedroom which included Tucans, a flock of parakeets and even a pair of Macaws on our last day. We had a regular iguana that would chill at the pool with us and even had a poison dart frog on he patio. The location was perfect, with only a 20 -30 minute drive to Jaco for shopping and the restaurant right down the road was delicious. This home exceeded my expectations and as a travel advisor, I will be recommending it to all of my clients.

We are so sad to leave the peace and tranquility of Jeffreys home in the jungle. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, bird sightings, our morning iguana friends and trips into Jaco. The place is clean and very well stocked with necessities. We loved grilling out by the pool. A beautiful country. The views are WORTH staying here. We had a wonderful time at Jeffrey's place. There was an amazing view!! I was impressed by the fully stocked kitchen and the cleanliness of the place. We had plenty of space for our two families. 7 people in all. We had many visitors to the house including Macaws, Toucans, Cane Toads, and even a poisonous dart frog. Lots of fun for the teenager in the pool. Very relaxing experience for all.

I can not say enough good things about Jeffrey’s paradise/ sanctuary high a top a mountain in the clouds. Thinking back on having read through comments left by others before our stay - I could not agree more with all the positive reviews… particularly “you will not regret your stay at Jeffrey’s”. Pictures do not do it justice… panoramic breathtaking views, abundant wildlife… we actually saw a toucan!!! Right from the porch. Pool is amazing, house is amazing, environment is amazing. All in you will not regret staying here. Jeffrey was more than accommodating after some rough travel. I have been staying at Airbnbs for about a decade… hands down a top stay. Positive grounding life long memories are made at Jeffrey’s place. One more time, you will not regret staying here. Get a solid car/ truck/ 4x4/ good breaks to make it up the mountain however.
