Panoramic Pacific views stretch to Costa Rica from this private 1BR cabaña in San Juan del Sur. Sleep two on a Tempur mattress, with a jungle-framed outdoor-style shower and surf just a 10-minute walk away.
The Space
Immerse yourself in the lush surroundings of the Double Jungle Cabaña, set among the canopy of the Maderas Valley. This luxuriously rustic private cabana offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean extending all the way to Costa Rica, while the surf is just a 10-minute walk away.
The spacious, single-level cabana measures 21 square meters (226 square feet) and accommodates two guests. Choose between:
- One king-size bed
- Two large single beds
The beds feature luxurious Tempur mattresses.
The beautifully designed bathroom includes an outdoor-style shower, corner bifold windows, and locally crafted tiles made in the historic center of Granada.
Designed to blur the boundary between the structure and its natural surroundings, the front of the cabana features four sliding doors fitted with mosquito netting. This allows you to feel fully immersed in the jungle while remaining comfortable. Locally sourced polished hardwood floors are complemented by rustic carbon wood interior details.
Guest Access
Access is available by four-wheel-drive vehicle or motorcycle only. Please do not attempt to reach the property in a standard car or car taxi, as the roads through the jungle can be very rough.
Cars can further damage the road because they lose traction and tear up the hill.
If you arrive by car, please leave it near the beginning of the driveway by Casa Emilia. Check the location on Maps.
Breakfast
Breakfast is available at an additional cost. Choose from one of the following options:
- Option A: $7
- Cereal with granola, yogurt, and fresh fruit, including fruit from our trees when in season
- Option B: $7
- Two eggs prepared to your preference—fried, boiled, or scrambled
- Toast, fruit, and one side
Both options include coffee or tea.
Dinner
Dinner is optional and is served Sunday through Thursday for $15 per person. The price includes a main course, salad, and one beer or juice.
Dinner is not included in the accommodation price so that you can explore the restaurants nearby or in town. The menu for each evening is posted daily. If you would like dinner, please let us know before noon, and it will be served between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m.
The menu changes regularly and combines traditional home-cooked meals with Central and South American influences. We aim to use locally sourced seafood and produce from the market. Buen provecho!

Stunning location, amazing cabana (first time I’ve showered with a jungle view!) delicious home-cooked meals and friendly people (I met the volunteer Yannis rather than Tim, who was really friendly and helpful).

The accommodation was beautiful! We slept in the small cabana. Were woken up every morning by monkeys and birds - pure nature The sunsets were magical. Tim and his staff were nice and very helpful and assisted us in finding surf schools and transportation. A 4x4 is recommended for getting there and back.

The property is absolutely stunning! Incredible views. Tim was so responsive and helpful. The volunteers / folks who work at the property were so kind & helpful as well. It is close to the beach (the beach is so so nice) - the walk down is fairly easy but the walk up is steep so just be aware! We were totally fine but it was a trek. Would absolutely stay here again!

Tim and Todo Bien surpassed all of our expectations. From the lovely casita that blurred the lines between nature and structure to the amazing food and coffee prepared on-site we truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Tim was a great host who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. I cannot recommend this place more highly. It’s my sincere hope I’m lucky enough to stay there again someday.

By far the best accommodation of my Nicaragua trip. An absolute paradise that Tim & Cynthia have created there. Its sunsets were magical. Very tasty dinner, which you can eat together with other guests on the terrace, therefore a super pleasant family atmosphere. Tim also organized me a surf instructor who was also great (Felipe). Thank you for everything!

Stay here, you will not regret it. The property is beautiful, clean and the views are superb. Nightly dinners with other guests really help create a small community and we met some friends for life while staying here. Tim and his family are super welcoming and delightful. Same goes for everyone else at who works at Todo Bien. The walk to the beach may look far, but it really is only 10 min. Lastly, Chuey (the dog). I am not even sure where to start. He stole my heart. The most handsome face, doesn't really like to exercise and most importantly, he has the ideal body structure. Thick and low to the ground. Please make sure to get one morning snuggle in with him. Enjoy your time at Todo Bien.

Tim’s place is a little slice of heaven. Tim is a warm and knowledgeable host with lots of recommendations. He also makes a mean coffee. Be sure to visit his funky little surf cafe by the beach and enjoy his eggs Benedict and home roasted coffee.
