Casa Flying Pigs: House is great - solid construction which helped keep it cool feeling (Nicaragua is hot) and I liked the layout with the very private master bedroom on the 2nd level. They were great at organizing things like restaurant reservations, rental car dropoff/pickup, transport to and from Managua, surf lessons. Very walkable to the main building and pools at Rancho Rancho: Gorgeous. Staff is fantastic. We loved Taqueria for lunch and then alternated between Finca and Boquita for dinner. I recommend getting a AWD rental car with decent engine so you can get around Rancho - it takes 15 minutes on steep dirt roads to get from one end to the other. Horse riding was fun, surf lesson was fun, and we enjoyed playing in the surf. A very active place - not a place to lay on lounge chair on beach and float in calm waters... 1) there are no beach loungers 2) surf is big Nicaragua: Gorgeous. Airport was easy and fast. Drive is on decent roads almost the whole way. Never felt unsafe.

We stayed at Casa Flying Pigs (F-2) in Rancho Santana. The house is perfectly located near the Inn, La Tienda, Spa. Housekeeping came every other day, and they do a nice job of cleaning and doing laundry. Communicating with the host was easy, and they really go out of their way to assist in any way. We used their services for surfing lessons for our three kids at Playa Los Perros.

We stayed with our family of 5, three children under 7 years old and it was perfect! 2 minute walk to the main clubhouse and approximately 3-4 minute walk to Santana beach. My family felt safe and ALL of the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Nice location and good communication. House was nice just wish they would upgrade A/c’s and have more towels for you. Other than that everything was nice and for the most part clean. They were very accommodating and informative.

Casa Flying Pigs was perfect for our family. The house is clean, AC worked great and had all of the cooking supplies needed to cook at home (just bring your own spices/oil/etc.) Housekeeping, host and maintenance staff were more so friendly and responsive. It is a 5 minute walk from the main clubhouse where our family spent a majority of the time. Make sure to pack a first aid kit! Our two year old ended up cutting his foot on the tide pools and so glad we had antiseptic wash. Would definitely stay at Flying Pigs again.

Great place with great amenities at the club house. The pool at the villa looks small but it’s really all you need. We never really left the property because we had everything we needed. Only thing I wish was that they had some type of physical guest book / map to show you places to eat/places to see.
