Overview
This historic apartment is located in a 1930s building in the heart of Bella Vista, one of Panama City's most central and historic districts. A small terrace garden adds a distinctive touch to the property's colorful interior.
The apartment sits at the crossroads of Panama City's old and new areas, beside Parque Urracá and just a few minutes from the Historical District.
The Space
The apartment occupies the third floor of a historic property built by a former President of Panama. The ground floor houses a museum and library.
An adjacent community garden gives neighbors space to grow herbs and crops and maintain a composting area for greater sustainability. A large mango tree in the garden is visible from the master bedroom window.
The apartment includes:
- A master bedroom with an ensuite full bathroom
- A dedicated office with original wooden windows and natural light
- A second full bathroom decorated with plants
- A spacious living room
- A fully equipped kitchen
- A laundry area
- A small terrace with a dining table and indoor garden
Guest Access
The entire apartment will be available for your use while we are traveling, except for several locked closets and one locked room containing personal belongings.
Additional Information
As a historic property, the building does not have an elevator. Access requires climbing three flights of stairs.
Yolima, our plant caretaker, will occasionally water the indoor garden and bathroom plants. We will notify you in advance whenever she visits.

I loved staying there. The host was very responsive and helpful. The place was much bigger than I expected, it was nice to have so many plants in such an open and airy apartment. It was my first time in Panama and the host was very understanding of my needs. I would recommend this place for anyone, and even as a solo traveler, it was worth it.

Amazing apartment. Very open and lots of plants, the only issue was with parking and the stairs. There was very little street parking available and no parking on site, so we had to drive around. This might have been because lots of people were at parque urraca for Dic. 26, but it still was dificult. There were a lot of stairs getting up to the apartment, so beware, but overall the apartment and neighborhood was amazing and everything was within walking distance.

Lovely Apartments that instantly felt like a home away from home. Very spacious, even bigger than it looked on the pictures. It’s right at a park an has a supermarket around the corner. The outdoor area is a bit noisy, but when you sleep at the back you hardly hear anything. We loved the green patio and the tiles on the floor. Also that it’s one of the two historic buildings. It’s definitely worth the climb to the third floor. Felipe was very responsive and although he was traveling himself, he took care of all we needed.

Felipe’s house felt like a home away from home. He was a flexible and responsive host, providing recommendations and quickly coming to rescue when I struggled to open the door. The location is great and the apartment with its many plants cosy. Highly recommended, hope to return in the future!
